Tommy Davis Park

Tommy Davis park is a very large, beautiful, peaceful park near the DTC area of Greenwood Village. Large playgrounds and multiple green grassy areas that overlook the lake. I believe this park is the where the Greenwood Village trail system starts that interconnects many of the other parks that are in the area such as Orchard Hills park, Hoffman Park and Huntington Acres Park. There are also many forms of wildlife here, its nice to sit on a park bench that over looks the lake and just take in all the wonderous offerings that nature provides. Come and visit today!

This is a really nice little park! I was only on one side, didn't walk all around to know the total size. The wild animals are so sweet, very friendly. I felt like I made some non-human friends that day, haha.Some of the birds did seem to look at me with "expectations" (i.e., where's our food, woman?!?!). Ok, just don't attack me, I have no food - please & thanks.The parking lot is terrible, though!!! You can barely back your car out of there if there was a bigger vehicle behind you!!! I have a wee little Honda Civic and I was worried! It made me wonder... WHO designed this parking lot? Which is not normally something I think or say to myself!

This is a hidden gem in the DTC. The parking lot can be easy to miss and there aren't many spots but this is becoming one of my favorite local parks for waking with our stroller. The park has great paved walking paths that link up to multiple other parks in the area like Silo Park. There are also amenities like a playground, a stocked pond and basketball and volleyball courts.

This park is a suburban dream come true. With its beautiful pond, impressive basketball court, those random outside exercise things along a path, well-groomed baseball field, and playground that makes you feel sad about your elementary school, TDP is where it's at. There are some ducks and geese here, but they seem to poop less than your typical fowl because they also know this park is beautiful. More than anything, this park is super quiet and feels like a wonderful and safe place to spend part of the afternoon. The only thing that is mildly not perfect about this park is the fact that one of the basketball hoops is kind of close to the playground, so if you're dropping dimes like I am, your ball can bounce into the wood chips. It takes away from the flow of the game a little bit, but you'll get over it pretty quickly.Who's down with TDP? Yeah, you know me.

Lovely park! It has a beautiful pond with ducks and geese that the kids enjoy looking at. There are a few seats overlooking the pond though you could expect to see geese littering on the grass right next to the pond. It has a nice kids play area with swings, many slides, a basketball court to name a few. It has a very good paved area for walking and riding bikes. They also have an area where kids could practice soccer. Another great thing is that the park has exercise equipment installed every few yards. There isn't a lot of parking available. The kids play area also doesn't have any tree cover so it could get quite hot under the sun. Great place to take the dogs too.Update: late in fall when many geese start coming in, you can expect littering pretty much everywhere.

Awesome place to take your dog!!! They have a nice land with good grass!! They also have a basketball court, playground, tennis court and trails around this park. Would definitely recommend others to check it out or go on a nice scroll at the park!!!
