Wow. Just wow. I don't give out a lot of five star ratings but this one is well-deserved. I stopped by with some friends on a Friday evening. While we sat in the cocktail parlor, we also enjoyed the food from the neighboring Folklore Irish Pub. From the food to the drinks, these people know what they are doing. Drinks were nice and strong and the food was excellent. The cocktail parlor is very moody, dim lights, lighted bar menu (literally has lights inside, so cool), cozy seating and great music. Staff was very kind and welcome. They also have great recommendations. Upon entry we were greeted and seated quickly. We were also offered a welcome shot. Like what?!? That's amazing. I wish I remembered what all was it in but I know it included a brown sugar roasted carrot and vodka. There were a few more ingredients, which all blended together so well. Love that they have actual mocktail options. The Green Apple mocktail was excellent. It tasted like liquid green apple in all of the best ways. I love that when I asked the waiter about Mocktails, the bartender (that was behind the bar) shouted "do you like apple" lol I love when restaurants are intentional about making well made mocktail (not just juice with a garnish). Admittedly I took horrible photos but trust all of the food and drinks were delicious lol SEA SALT BAKED PRETZEL BITES - 5/5 pretzels have the perfect texture and just the right amount of salt. That honey mustard and cheese are amazing!THE BOY WHO WANTED MORE CHEESE - 5/5 The jammy onions really make this. Bread is perfectly toasted. It is the ultimate patty melt. The most delicious and perfectly crispy tater tots. THE OLD HEN - 5/5. I was so overwhelmed from my first bite. Legit the most delicious sandwich I've ever had. All of the elements paired so well together. The tomato jam, blue cheese Schmear were just excellent. Also, those potato wedges were chefs kiss. They had to be tossed in some kind of special oil and tossed with something just as tasty. Just get them. I don't know what else to say, just get it. Fish and chips - 4/5 huge serving. Served with a grilled lemon (a must) and homemade tartar sauce. Batter was flakey and beautifully seasoned. Posting this review in both places because I need everyone to see this lol Needless to say I will be back. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in Colorado Springs!

With the saturation of restaurants and bars downtown, it's hard to find a place that has a high level of service and is welcoming. This was my experience today. I had a long week at work and am not looking my best, but when I walked in, I was greeted immediately and sat. I often dine after work alone as it is easier than the rigamarole of coordinating a Friday meet up.Little did I know, the Mexican fusion restaurant next door provides the food, so kill 2 birds with one stone. I was given food recommendations and I went with the mole wings and esquites. Both were substantial in portions and flavorful. A little messy, but yum! For drinks, I chose the Army/Navy drink which consisted of gin with a nutty flair (pictured). My second drink was a NY Sour - whiskey sour with a red wine foam foam on top. Both were creative, but I def preferred the former. Lastly, the service was great. I was taken care of without being ignored or smothered as I was able to relax and eaves drop on all the other conversations happening. I highly recommend trying this place out!Queen's Tears = great nightcap!

This "cocktail parlor" is the adjoining area of neighboring Folklore Irish Pub where you also enter to access this enduring, creative cocktail bar. Shoutout to the bartender, Kyle, fellow San Diegan/ former South Park resident for providing top notch service and conversation. An upstanding fellow with a flair for crafting such tasty and reasonably priced creations. Upon sitting at the bar, I was offered a complimentary aperitif -- a sweet gesture. Then upon opening the light-up-upon-opening menu booklet, I was all but elated. As a sign of good things to come, the menu contained two sides - Forgotten Classics and Neoclassical Cocktails, both choices at $14 (a slight deviation from menu which lists them at $13). I had the Kiwi Club (citrus vodka, kiwi cordial, lime juice, sugar, egg white, and mint) and a Triunfo Crusta (pisco, grapefruit cordial, maple sage syrup, lemon juice, and bitters). Both were of a refreshing quality which was my aim and choice taste for the night. Absolutely outstanding! Such finesse and refinement hidden away in a seemingly ordinary Irish Pub. What a treat I had at what can be declared as a casual speakeasy. Glad I stopped in on a whim to sip and savor as I was able to order at the bar from the food menu from Folklore, in addition. The perfect Saturday night cap to this ones early evening of non-debauchery.

We spent the evening at both Eleven18 and Tipperary. Both were fantastic. Starting at Eleven18, the carnitas and barbacoa street tacos were outstanding. We had the tuna tostaditas and mole wings as well. They were also very tasty. After dinner we headed next door for a night cap. The bartender and server were friendly and attentive and the drinks were tasty and well crafted. The only downside was the service at Eleven18. It was a little on the slow side. Recommend.

We are in our 60s and have been here twice. The first time we came, we sat at the bar and the bartender was only interested in talking to his friends. No acknowledgment we were there or service, so we walked out after 10 minutes. The restaurant was not full. We had heard good things about the food, so gave it another shot a few months later. Bartender was loud and mostly concentrated on younger people in the bar. It was hard again to get service, but we ordered some tacos that were just okay. Again loud bartender, no service. No checking in with us, to see if we wanted another drink, nothing. My wife had to go to the bar and interrupt the bartender to get our bill. Never again.
