Ted Blum has been a jeweler for many years. He has been at this downtown location for over 20 years. He will fix any piece of jewelry and also fixes watches. His work is excellent and prices reasonable. He will also make custom pieces of jewelry. He has made pendants, earrings and rings for me in gold and silver. He is quite popular so you need to give him adequate notice when you want a custom piece of jewelry made. He also sells jewelry and his offerings are always changing.

I could not be more pleased with the level of professionalism and commitment to excellence Ted and Matt brought the table when custom designing my wife's wedding band. From the very beginning, they worked diligently to meet a short deadline I had given them in order to overlap with our anniversary. Matt stayed in constant communication with me, working behind the scenes to make sure my wife was completely surprised. Because my wife was not involved in the design process, we ended up having to make some alterations afterwards (my fault entirely), which they gladly were able to do, resulting in the ring being perfect. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were stunning and absolutely brought my wife to tears. The entire process felt very personal, I felt listened to, and I knew at the end of the day we would be thrilled with the results. Impeccable service and the guys are always great!!!! They definitely pay attention to details and you always leave happy and satisfied. If they don't have it they will look around to see if they can find it at their other store. When all else fails they will make it!!!

I recently had two rings (my engagement and wedding band) resized here, as well as a gold bracelet. They did an amazing job. All the items look beautiful. What is really crazy is I got one other quote to resize them from another jeweler for over $1,300, and Ted Blum was able to do the three items for $175. I'm all for paying for quality service, but this place provides quality service AND doesn't rip you off. Would most definitely come here for any other jewelry needs!

Stopped in after being told one of my prongs was loose on my wedding ring. Matthew was quick to take a look and ensure me my ring was okay. However he still took the time to lightly tighten it up and clean it! I'm hoping to stop in again soon to have a custom band made. What a great family business.

Owner was rude, bad bedside manner. Not very forthcoming on the value of my jewelry. He would only confirm its value after hearing what other jewelers quoted.His daughter who works for him, however was genuine and kind.

My husband and I had a set of stud earrings and a custom eternity band made with diamonds we inherited and they came out AMAZING!I showed their guys a few photos of what I was hoping for, they let me know exactly how they were going to make the thing, called me in 2 days later to approve the components of the setting, and I had my ring in 2 weeks. The ring came out just slightly too big and they resized it within a few hours.The shop has some beautiful pieces and a very welcoming atmosphere.We will definitely be back!
