It snowed, but it was very comfortable inside all day.
This wasn't even half the available space.

Not sure if this place is under new management, but we had a terrific experience. I went to a conference here, and I would recommend this place 100%!The Santiago breakfast burritos were delicious, the boxed lunches were fresh and tasty, and employee Corey even helped me out with a power strip for our exhibition booth. Not sure about the cost since I was just an attendee, but I'm sure it's reasonably priced and a good location right off highway I-225.Thanks again!

Awful. You would expect when you rent an event center you would get heating and cooling. But That was not the case so it was extremely hot, stuffy and smelly!! And could not get ahold of anyone to remedy the issue. Do not use this place!!

THIS PROPERTY IS HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT USE. I have never experienced such unprofessional people in my life. Over priced and the staff knows NOTHING about customer service. If you want to have a unsuccessful event and pay too much....this is the place for you!! Roxie is crazy and Ann Margaret is a con artist who only wants to extort you for as much money as possible, even if you have signed a contract. Again I am appalled and will be contacting the BBB!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Summit Event Center and it was a horrible experience to say the least! This was supposed to be the most memorable day of our lives, and it was. But in the worst possible way!To start off the staff was instructed to have our decorations in the room and ready for our help to start decorating and they didn't have it available. Our help had to go searching for it. Also, they were supposed to have all our cake out on the table to start since it was all decorated. So, once we arrived my mother had to go and find the rest of the cake to put out.The food left much to be desired. We tasted the food and picked our menu before the wedding, but the food that was served was cold, and tasteless. Nothing like we tasted beforehand. Also, the children at our wedding were to be served a different meal (more kid friendly) the same time my husband and I were served. The employees forgot to serve the children and by the time we realized it, they were already eating food off their parents' plates. They finally brought out the children's meals, but just like ours, it was not up to par. We also purchased the option to have two proteins per person. But, since they had no server for the proteins, or a sign that explained anything our guests didn't realize they could take two. There must have been TONS of food left over, but we never saw it.During the whole reception anytime we had a question none of the staff could understand us because they didn't speak English! We saw the manager once at the beginning of the night, and then he disappeared never to be seen again. I felt the worst for my mom (mother of the bride who also paid for this reception) because she couldn't enjoy herself at all the whole night. She was constantly running around trying to make sure things were done correctly and getting ignored by staff.Throughout the whole night the staff would go around taking drinks off tables before they were empty. Many of them were paid alcohol drinks that were completely full, or more than half full. Many of our guests complained of paying for drinks and then not getting to drink them. They also took my husband and I's cake off our table before we even had one bite. It was still untouched! At the end of the evening the staff started cleaning up well before our cutoff. They were even piling our decorations which we were taking home with trash all on one table to be sifted through later. My mom tried contacting the owner to have our grievances heard, and the owner seemed interested at first. But after talking to her staff who told her that we were lying. She decided to not even listen to our side of the story. Saying that her employees wouldn't lie and there was no reason to hear us out. She even threatened us with a law suit for posting a negative review of her business. Please save yourself the heartache and trouble by finding somewhere else for your occasion!-A very heartbroken and disappointed customer-

Wedding October 2014.This place is awful, we had our reception there. The employees do not speak English, the service was bad, and we saw the manager once, the whole 6 hours we where there. Our food was disappointing and cold. To make matters worse, the kids at our wedding were suppose to have a kids meal that we paid for, but it was more like watered down mac and cheese. I'm also disappointed with the ownership, as well as the management at this establishment. I would not recommend this place for anyone looking for a wedding venue.A Very Disappointed Customer

Do not use the Summit for your event. My son's reception was there and while Anthony was wonderful & the food was good, management did evry thing they could to extort more money from us. That and they lied right to my face. Please think long & hard about dealing with this very unprofessional company.

I have worked with this company several times in the past and will not anymore. The service is horrible and the food. Ann Margaret acquired about our company to host more events at their location and because we did not, she was so unprofessional and rude. You can not dictate which events our company holds and where. No customer service and very unprofessional.
