Great service and ambiance. Laura was attentive and kind. The 16 oz wagyu ribeye was tender, but there was significant gristle that should not have been present in the restaurant's priciest cut (we should have just stuck with USDA prime), and it was over-salted. It was so salty that bites needed to be paired with sides and heavy swigs of wine to avoid my tongue curling like an iodized slug. The sides we ordered (brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, and vegetables with goat cheese crudité) were all tasty, but the wagyu really should have been the star. Sadly it was not. Remove 2/3rds of the salt next time to avoid causing leg cramps. Our kids' filets were much better seasoned! The wine was also uninspiring. We were recommended a fruit-forward cab and red blend from Paso Robles. Neither had a good finish and it felt like we had the misfortune of helping clear out leftover bottles. The cheesecake and olive oil cake were good.We may give Flying Horse another chance in the future, but the Wagyu and wine were subpar. The beautiful setting and service saved the night.

We went for lunch and enjoyed the great views from our table. Impeccable service. The drinks and food were both amazing. The Cobb Salad is tasty with lots of toppings. Good portion and filling.

I went here last weekend with a larger group of ladies. The individual hosting is a member so we enjoyed her rose from her locker. We ordered salmon rangoon appetizers for the table which were tasty, but I love any cheese. As my entree, I ordered the burrata salad and added salmon. It was a bit pricey once you added the protein, but the flavors were all nice. As a table, we split a few desserts, but I was only able to grab a photo of the shortcake. The desserts took longer than the food to arrive, but it seems as though the shortcake had just come out of the oven. So you cannot be mad at that. The other dessert was the crème brûlée. Personally, I'm a shortcake person. The service was spot on and everyone was super friendly.

This is an EXCELLENT restaurant. Great for a date night! The bar area is a nice sociable spot. I would totally go here for a ladies night or to watch a game or fight on the TVs. and the view of the golf course is stunning. Was here one night during a lightning storm and we saw the lightning strikes through the windows. Scary and beautiful at the same time. The steaks are superb! They finish their steaks with beef tallow. YUM. Perfect temperature. The brussels sprouts are a must try. The cocktails DO NOT disappoint. Honestly their margaritas were the best I've had in Colorado. The service is top notch. We'll be going here again!

One of the best restaurants in Colorado Springs! Wonderful steaks, sides, ambience, and top notch service! You do not have to be a club member to dine here. Perfect for a special occasion or a simple Friday night to start the weekend. Absolutely 5+++++ stars. Thank you for another impeccable meal and experience! See you again very soon!

The only reason I'm giving this five stars is because of the wonderful server Kerry or Carrie you still have. The one with her hair pulled up in a clip and she wears glasses. If not be for her then I and my family would give our experience a one. We came here for our usual family tradition of staying at the hotel and eating at the Steakhouse. It is usually fantastic hands down. However this year was a bit different. We did not get into the hotel until later that night due to our flight being a little delayed, we were famished so we went out to lunch and then headed up to Woodland Hills to see my cousin my family's granddaughter & niece at here home to drop off a cake and celebrate her Birthday. When we got to the hotel we went to the Steakhouse since that is tradition and we're stunned to see all new faces behind the bar at night. We normally always see Shawn one of our favorite employees. At the time there was no more happy hour which was fine since it was well past six. So my family split desserts and had wine, sangria and I as well as my cousin had a virgin strawberry margarita. The food was fine. The drinks were okay. My mom and aunts Niner glass of wine tasted like an old or bad bottle as they had said. However the biggest agitation was the lack of service. You were still open. The nice hostesses who sat and cleaned the big bar top so obviously it wasn't last call yet. She should be recognized for her kindness. She was young African American and this was September 1st 2024 around 8:00 pm. The bar tender did nothing but take our order. He was not personable, friendly or what you'd like to see after a day of flying. It was as if he had an attitude that we were there. My mom had to literally go over to him at the bar to ask him for more water and a few other things. We mostly in my family have been in the industry for years. We know one must be on their game until the doors are locked. Even if he was having a bad day it doesn't excuse the fact that he was blatantly talking to two young female coworkers instead of taking care of his guests. There are so many new especially young faces who don't give you the service that the more experienced bartenders did. Another night my mom and I went in by ourselves and the bartender was young and had the bar back do most of her work. The biggest highlight of our trip was seeing the lovely Kerry or Carrie. I don't know how she spells her name. Having the pleasure of having her be our server on one of our few days we ate in your restaurant was one of the best dinning experiences we've had our entire trip. Not only does she remember us, but even if she had not her service was beyond over the top amazing. Everything from the drinks to the food was spectacular just as her service and personality. I highly suggest you hire more mature, experienced people such as K/Carrie. So that others feel welcomed, accepted and have not just a great meal, but a great experience as well. The younger ones act as if A) you don't matter or they don't care about you or B) they don't want to be working. Thank you and I hope this review helps in the future.

Top notch restaurant w/top notch prices, definitely pricey BUT amazing ambiance & great for those one time special occasions. It's located in a gated community & everyone in general is super kind & the service was absolutely amazing from the waiters to the host at the front doors. The food in general is amazing! Definitely worth the prices & they truly COOK the food as it takes them quite a while to bring out dishes, which taste super fresh & pure A+ quality. Overall with the dishes pictured, not including 2 alcoholic drinks we got, it was just under $150 bucks to eat here, definitely will be coming here for future special occasions!

Would give a 6/5 if possible. Was absolutely impressed from start to finish from Laura our waitress to the desert. The bone marrow appetizer and carpaccio appetizer were to die for. The mashed potatoes are can't miss. The Wagyu steak was melt in your mouth. The only thing I might change is the serving size of the brussel sprouts. It was a massive portion relative to the price and probably would have still been enough for 2-3 more people. The cranberry rosemary infused old fashioned is my favorite cocktail in recent memory and will crave it for a loooong time. Great ambiance and the walk in multi floor wine cellar is pretty awesome and they had great lights set up for the holidays

My husband and I are staying at the hotel and wanted to enjoy a nice cocktail and steak. We sat at the bar and had the rudest bartender, Clarissa. She seemed to be bothered by us and was really dismissive even though the bar area was EMPTY. We left after our first drink. So disappointed. Never returning to this restaurant.
