The Spark

The Spark is a high end gift store located in downtown Colorado Springs.One of my favorite things to do when visiting a new town is to find their downtown shopping areas and just browse. I love souvenir shops, gift shops, and everything in between. That is how I found The Spark.I was a little apprehensive when I first walked in because I didn't want my kids to break anything.It's not that they're occasionally bulls in a china shop, but they are occasionally bulls in a china shop. They were particularly well behaved this time so nothing was damaged.The items for sale here are more towards the high end decorative type items. There were several dude oriented items that I liked, including several clocks made from old airplane gauges. I kind of regret not buying one. I did end up getting a Colorado themed Christmas Ornament which is pretty cool.If you are in downtown Colorado Springs and want high end decor, I encourage you to visit The Spark.

Saw a display of bee themed items on a front table and had to go into the store. It has some nostalgic items and jewelry made by local artists. Cool backpacks, winter hats, books, signs and decor items. It was easy to find things for your home in here. He loved the old typewriters. I was very tempted to buy one. And my girlfriend found lots of interesting jewelry. Mary was friendly and we chatted as we looked around. There was an issue with the point of sale system but they had us pay at the connecting store so no issues. Come check out The Spark when you're out and about.
