I gave up a really nice older Fisher component system (before they moved to Japan) and I've been missing that sound ever since. My wife said "let's go find you a new system" and I found it's not as easy as it used to be. There's the big blue box store, cheap systems in other superstores, and buying online. I wanted to hear the system before buying. The first place I went to showed me systems 5 times my budget and way too big for my home office. I thought I'd have to go to Denver. Luckily, I found The Sound Shop and I was finally in a place that appreciated high-end sound but also understood not everyone needs a $15K system. Scott was awesome to talk with and he showed me the right system for me. He let me spend all the time I wanted playing different music and had loads of suggestions about music, speakers, and just seemed like he knew exactly what I wanted. There was a bit of a delay getting the system due to the chip shortage that's going on, but Scott and crew stayed in touch and got me back into the audiophile world and I couldn't be happier. Thanks, Sound Shop folks, especially Scott. I'll be back for a home theater system very soon!

Absolute trash. I called in a Geek Squad repair a month ago. I've been told ten different times I'd be getting a call from the tech and no work has been done. Stay away, they will just waste your time.

Bought a 55" LG oled Last of Jan 2018, had them install and set up sound system. took three trips to get it done. three weeks ago the TV started to have an issue with the set turn off every few minutes. Called LG told to call Sound Shop, called sound shop took four calls to get a call back from thec only to get to get told he does not service our area. Fourth call to LG got a thec from 125 miles away who told us our screen was cracked and there was nothing he could do call the sound shop. Called and still have no reply after a week of waiting.Buy another tv from them HA HA HA.

Never again! Sharp told me to call this place to have my TV repaired. Called to schedule. 1 week passes. No call back ( should of run then). Jose (repair tech) finally called. Comes out 2-24. Collects $75. Gave him the error code. He THINKS it's a power supply. Calls back and states Power Supply is backordered and looks like about 30 days to get the part. I call back in March 28. I found the part in the the internet so I'm starting to get irritated. Call the shop and explain the situation some guy who told me he is kind of the manager. He never calls back. Jose finally calls 3-28 to tell me he FOUND the part, but it could be the picture tubes now and I have a 50/50 shot if he comes out (at least he was honest about that). So back to square one. Pretty terrible experience.

If you want service after the sale this is NOT the place to go. If any of the equipment you purchased has a problem, they cannot fix it and will whine about returning it to the manufacture at their cost. Sales people are friendly and cooperative but the management needs a basic 101 course in customer service. I will never purchase anything from here again.

I love The Sound Shop. I haven't stocked my house. I haven't put in a theater room. I've just gone there for my needs as the arise and they have not disappointed me. I know that I can call them or stop by and they will recommend to me the best option to suit my needs. If you think that can get the same quality and service at a large box store, you're wrong. The Sound Shop's prices are fair and competitive. The service is uncontested.

I love these shop. I built a home and Scott walked me through the entire process from running wire to my Control4 setup. I like surround sound on a TV bit music is my first love and Scott set me up in fact I just added a turntable and it is awesome. We have traded easy for the richness of vinyl, yes I'm over 40. I just finished having the Sound Shop folks do some work for me: wall mount TV, some setups and moving of other TV's and receiver, etc. "The install gang" was on time, competent, courteous...all you could ask for! Although I haven't the bill yet (it won't be small, but consistent with my previous dealings, will be appropriately competitive) I'm quite pleased.
