The Side Door Restaurant & Lounge

Awesome hotel, bar, and restaurant. No menu just get daily specials. Chicken was juicy and grilled quarter. Sides were potato salad, beans, and cornbread. I had the cheeseburger. Tasty, good bun that didn't get soggy while eating. All in all great stop for lunch.

First of all, the restaurant is filthy. A dog ran around the dining room and ate off the floor. The womens bathroom was out of soap. We waited about an hour and a half for a salad, a sandwich, and onion rings. It was getting dark and we had to drive back to Denver so we told them we had to leave and paid for our drinks. We were accosted in the street by the cook who threatened to call the cops on us if we left and said we were dining and dashing. Pretty sure you have to dine to be able to dine and dash. Anyway, the food taking forever probably saved us intestinal troubles because the woman next to us had some sort of inedible slop that was still on her plate when she left. Stay away. Terrible place with terrible service and an insane cook. The bartender was nice and trying her best.

We went in the last hour it was open. It was starting to get dark, and even though we parked right in front of it, there was absolutely no signage to indicate that the restaurant was right inside that door. It seemed there was only one person working the front which includes the bar, so the service was slow, but understandable in these pandemic times with tourism so low. Because if that it also took over 30 mind for our food to be ready, however, we were told that prior and agreed to those terms so no complaints there. The food (mushroom and mozzarella burger) was delicious and cooked to perfection.

Our second time here. Nice people, food is decent, service kind of slow. Door was propped open so employee's cigarette smoke blew straight in to the table area. A bit over priced. We were told their credit card machine wasn't working even though it appeared that the table across from us used a card. They have an ATM in the table area so that probably saves them credit card fees and makes them a few extra bucks from the ATM fees. Think we'll try another restaurant when next we are in Victor.

Very fun, quaint restaurant in a small, quaint town. Our server Sydney was very nice. My only complaint is that they closed early that night and the service was a little slow, but for 1 person running everything that night it wasn't bad. Would go again.

Weird place. Not sure who rated them so high. The bartender had us sit wherever we wanted. Only 3 available tables as one had a heater and someones purse on it, the other had an old poinsettia plant sprawled all over it. We ordered food but wanted sides and she didn't know what we meant by sides. She didn't know what to do with them. Yikes! She (bartender) also cooked our food which was decent but not worth the trip. Couldn't get out of their fast enough.

I was staying at the Black Monarch Hotel and visited this place to eat. The burger was fantastic and it was a really nice place to sit and take in the city of Victor. I would definitely recommend.

Well... we tried to go here on a Saturday for lunch. Town was very quiet. No one was at the restaurant. Sign was for "open". We walked in and asked if they were serving food. The one employee said "well... not really... there's only one person working here today and they're... hurting. So it's gonna be at least an hour for service"Sooo we left.

The customer service was very good. I had a hamburger and my husband had a cheeseburger and they were very good and affordable. The menu was small, we don't know why but I'm posting a picture of it so others won't be anticipating the larger menu listed from 4 years ago. I think it's still pretty good.
