My best round was played here. The scenery is breathtaking and the elevation and hills make it one of a kind! Truly a joy playing here with my dad and his best friend. No matter your handicap, you have to play 18. from the tips!Cheers!

Not super rich? Well worry not! You can still play golf right next to the exclusive Castle Pines! The Ridge has everything to offer, sans the million dollar flower beds. But why does it matter if your golf ball lands in pine straw or really pretty flowers? The hilly, scenic landscape of The Ridge leaves you feeling like you just played an exclusive private club but without the $30K a year membership. Great staff. Brutal sand traps on some holes. All in all, a total winner.

Course has definitely slipped over the years. Not a great experience. Sand traps dirt- no sand until the back 9. No ball washers on course. Refreshment cart not able to process a credit card transaction without reading the card number. Just a beautiful setting and layout but truly a second rate public course experience for twice the price.

This might be the worst managed golf course in Colorado. We are 4 groups stacked up on a Par 3.They do not have an on course starter unless it's the weekend. We played on a Wednesday and it took 5 hours 20 minutes. For the amount you pay for a tee time the management at this course should be ashamed of themselves.Side note ... They just got all brand new Greg Norman experience carts. Half the carts die during the round. The cart kid told us it was because they overfilled the batteries and are having all sorts of issues with the carts. Great job management.

This is a premium public course in the Denver Metro, situated outside of Castle Pines (about 20-25 minutes South, depending on where you're coming from). I'll just say that I've played it twice, and I'm very impressed. To put it in perspective, Golf Magazine has this as #7 for Public, but ahead of it are two Broadmoor Courses and three out in Western Colorado which is supposed to be ideal. So, pretty solid. And, it is. It's a more expensive golf experience but there are many deals to be had on some of the discount sites. I would suggest playing this track if you're visiting or if you live in the Front Range Area but haven't played it. The geography and terrain of Castle Pines lives up to the majesty of its name. The Ridge is carved along some beautiful contours and you get spectacular vistas. The golf is terrific. Lots of good holes, and I think the starting sequence is a great way to ease into playing well. I am thoroughly impressed and the Front Nine was especially impressive. As you settle into your round you are treated to hole after hole from 5-10. I think it loses momentum after that, but has a ton of great individual moments. 18 is a Bucket-List Tee Box. Look at the photos. I added a lot.Oh, it's also a great course. Good test of golf. Absolutely Colorado at it's Best. Great service and quality. Highly recommended. Also, good Pro Shop and Bar. So, it's got that going for it. Which is nice.

Early in its history with the new name, Park Place (formerly The Ridge Restaurant) was still a favorite. Then, they decided to become a more upscale dining place and less a neighborhood restaurant. So, they cut back the number of menu items, became more eclectic and hiked the prices. They also sent their longtime chef packing. Their patio and view is extraordinary but we've pretty much stopped dining here. Change is sometimes good. In this case, they took something that was working and decided to break it.

The course is beautiful! A challenging but fair test. Accuracy is a premium. The greens, fairways, and tee boxes are in excellent condition. My one problem is the traps are in terrible shape; you'd be hard pressed to find worse bunkers anywhere in the metro area. The practice facility is very good. Plenty of spots to hit from, a large putting green and a really good chipping green. The staff is excellent. Always friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also very good. Limited menu but what they have is good. So far I can say the hummus appetizer, the burger, and the Ruben are all excellent. And their happy hour is really reasonable. Enjoy a beer on their patio overlooking the Course. You won't be disappointed.

Awesome courseGreat viewsCart girl was always there Then there was this recently retired 80 y/o "golf Marshall" that treated us worse than he treated his fat ass body. Absolutely asshole. Tee'd off 10 minutes late at 8am and finished 10 minutes behind the last group. But we werent going fast enough. Everything felt like a Troon course besides Greg. Easily a top course in CO without him. Next time I'm here I'll call before to make sure he's not there

We showed up and were greeted by absolutely no one. Then a 5.5 hour round ensued with 3+ groups on tees at times and there was never even a hint of a marshal or anyone that cared. Bunkers were made mostly or rocks and pebbles. Disappointing for a course that claims to be one of the top courses. The 2 pars 5's on the front are really bad designs
