The Parkway Tavern

The team year is amazing. My wife has a lot of allergies and they went above and beyond. I can't believe more restaurants don't create a burger bun out of the head of lettuce like the team here did. How cool is it to see someone go above and beyond to make the experience great. The owner was very concerned and insured we got allergies taken care of.

Greeted by the ID guy and it was awesome. Down hill from there. Two girls working the bar obviously don't know they work for tips based on their performance. I was with a lady and the rest of the bar were men. If we hadn't continued to chase/call one of them over when we needed something, we would have never heard from them. We couldn't even try to make eye contact because they were too busy chatting up the male patrons. Place could be cool but I'd never go back.

Went for the "late night " service they advertised ? Kitchen closed ? Bartender seemed real upbeat about lack of food available? But we were not into getting wasted with no food so we left .

Their info says they are " open late "so we chose them since it was just after 9 o clock and other restaurants were closing . When we arrived we ordered drinks and were then informed they had Zero food available?The bartender was the only staff there and couldn't cook and tend bar ? So we canceled our drink order and left . More bar than restaurant is the vibe .

Haven't tried any of the food yet, this is typically my late night Friday Saturday spot. The bartenders are fantastic, quick and on top of everything. Karaoke on the weekends is amazing. The talent that shows up is ridiculous.You'd never expect such great singers in a small out of the way bar like this. Prices are fair, and plenty of parking.

Visited this nice neighborhood bar and grill today. We had our dog so we sat on the patio. Ordered some beer and wings and enjoyed the view of the mountains.

The atmosphere and the food, wait, and the COLD adult beverages are a welcome surprise to this North Colorado Springs location!My hamburger was served and cooked as ordered! The French fries were crispy and yet soft and hot inside! Beverages were cold and refreshing. The atmosphere is welcoming and a great place to talk during the lunch hour! Did I mention how good the Hamburgers are!

This has always been our go to place for a few drinks, shoot some pool and have a app or two. Today when we arrived there were two pool balls stuck/missing. The staff went way out of their way to help us. Five games later, a few drinks and some outstanding nachos with chicken and green chili and we reaffirmed our enjoyment of this place. Been years since I was here. Came in after getting a flyer in the mail announcing new management. Coke, no Pepsi! Yea!! Started with wings. Not exactly "jumbo" as described, more like what you'd see at BWW. $8.50 for 6. But cooked perfectly and delicious. Blue cheese and ranch both yummy. French Dip: $9.50. A little small for the price, meat portion matched the sandwich/ bun size. Dip was a little salty but good. Onion Rings: $1 extra, big and thick. Burger. 1/3 pound, appears to be a frozen patty (not like the picture on the flyer). Nothing special here. For the money I'd expect a 1/2 lb patty. Build your own and everything is additional. Fries: shoestring and good portion, but lost crispness fairy quickly. Came in on a Monday evening ahead of a snowstorm. The place was fairly empty. 4 TVs by the bar, all with the sound off. They have a Jukebox, but as no one put any money in it, it only occasionally spit out small clips of songs. Eerily quit. Staff (assuming management) was very attentive and courteous. I'd probably return if in the area, but not likely to make a special trip. Deserves better than 3 star, but just enough overpriced to miss the 4 star.

We have gone to the Parkway a number of times in the past couple of years but recently things have improved for the better! We met Daniel (bartender) and Derek (chef) about 4 weeks ago and we were very impressed! Daniel added his great personality to the bar scene and Derek, who is from New England, gave the menu a makeover. He said he concentrated on the sandwiches and he did a great job! The Rueben, the Chicago and the steak tips were delicious! On top of that the French fries very yummy. We are bringing more of our friends to enjoy this place! An additional shout out to Desiree and Mia!
