The Munchie Cottage

Cute little place that's easy to drive by if you are going from Colorado Springs area towards the mountains. Stop there, get a coffee and a pastry, and keep driving! (that's what I did). I'm sure they have items other than pastries, but my danish was awesome!

We wanted some coffee and saw this place on the side of the road in Divide, Co. We enjoy spending our money at unique off the wall mom and pop locations. This place met our goal. It is a small cabin that use to be a school. Great History. Margaret (Mom) and Jesse (Pop) own the place. Margaret is the home style chief, baker, and much more. Margaret is making muffins, danishes, chocolate treats to hearty loaded breakfast quiches and other lunch menu items. The staff we met, Ezra and Lindsey were lovely, friendly, and conversational. They made us feel welcomed. Hot spot for locals who are constantly driving in for a coffee or quick meal. If you love new experiences and like meeting the locals, this is your place. See ya soon.
