Kick ass bar in BreckTry to go and see El Paso Lasso if they are in town. An excellent 90s rock band that does not disappoint. They play more of the danceable grunge songs. So you have guys that were air guitaring and the girls were dancing. The place was totally rocking and lots of dancing on the tables and benches. It was lit.

Our second night in town and the "second birthday dinner", later reluctantly 'my choice' for our dinner this night. Very much a letdown, however we did get lucky and landed a large table around 5:30pm on this Saturday night, before Thanksgiving this year, to sit our large party of eight. Behind us, the place filled before we realized that every chair, with what appeared to a very local crowd with kids adults, elderly and us . . . vacationing tourists. A neat place especially in the back bar area that seated only the 'most local' folks and some very unique decor and photos. Somewhat similar opportunities exist throughout 'Breck' as I have been learning. Food was missing on all criteria. Weird textures and bland Denny's-like flavors; and despite the appealing words and descriptions used on the menu, "there's nothing to see here". We were all very disappointed, but it was our dinner, so we did our best. The "nachos' of house-made potato chips got only one bite from each of the eight at our table (see pic). Came to the spot every day on my trip. Whether you want to pop in for a daytime drink and bite to eat or come at night when the bar space comes alive. Pat took great care of us and never lets time go by with an empty glass. My favorite meal was the spicy chicken sandwich. I heard from the locals that Breckenridge is known for their friend chicken? Who would've thought? Trust me when I say you should definitely test it out while you're here.

Went on a Thursday night & waited about 40 minutes for a table. The restaurant was packed & bustling but we can still hear our own conversations. Staff were super nice. Bartender looked pretty hung over. She ate some food behind the bar. Licked her fingers & didn't wash her hands so that was pretty yucky. Once we were seated, our server was attentive. Food came out fast. The loaded tots were really soupy. Steak had a nice BBQ marinade. All in all a fairly pleasant experience.

We stopped in for lunch and my friend and I split an order of chicken strips and mac and cheese. Between the two, I preferred the mac and cheese, which was nicely creamy. The chicken strips were okay but a bit dry and the fries were basic shoestring fries. I prefer a thicker cut fry. All were made better with some ranch though because my motto is ranch makes almost everything better.

I mean...very local and very divey. When we came in, it was like all the locals because they all knew each other. Really cool. Didn't try anything and their wine selection is very small but cute and cozy place. Cake here for the wings. Pretty gois! Nice staff. Very social. Go here if you just wanna kick back.

Good vibes at this place, love the artwork outside in their patio. It's a big area and can seat alot of people, god friendly as well. The staff were all very laid back and helpful. Located right on the strip downtown and easy to get to.We ordered the spam fries, fried pickles, chicken and waffles, mac and cheese with steak, and the chicken sandwich. The fried pickles were great, but you really can't go wrong with those. Mac and cheese was loadeddd with cheese, It wasn't my meal but had a few bites and it was really good. But only if you are a cheese fan like myself. Steak was brisket, juicy and melted with a fork. I didn't taste the chicken and waffles but my friend said it was great. Chicken sandwich was good, I got the strogonoff version. It came with a mountain of string fries which I love.Great spot to have a chill dinner or lunch at, would definitely come back

Took the family out for dinner one night here. The Motherloaded Tavern was jam-packed and we were lucky to get a booth for 4. Our server had a great sense of humor and he also made a great cocktail. The chilli was a hearty dish after a long day out in the cold. It's mostly pub-style food overall. We got the impression that it's a locals hangout -- which was refreshing after a week of tourists around every corner. We loved the festive and lighthearted atmosphere. Come for the ambiance and the drinks.

Nut allergy friendly, didn't even ask.We ended up here after Aurum, Hearthstone, and every other recommended happy hour in Breckenridge was packed to the rim. They were the only place that let us walk in with a big group (7 people). Decent happy hour with $7 Odell Mountain Standard IPA, $4 PBR. Fast service in the downstairs bar, but food was a bit slow (25+ minutes for our appetizers).

We stopped in during their happy hour and they seated our party of 10 easily. We ordered a crap ton of fried foods from the happy hour menu and the portions were really generous!Tenders with true shoestring fries - both flavorful and crunch, delish. Mac and cheese bites - wow - one of the top m+c dishes I've had anywhere. Where the apps fell flat were the fried okra and fried pickles - both a little bland, not bad, just bland.My friend also ordered the Ultimate bloody mary which comes with its own little sides on top. She enjoyed it!Finally, the service was friendly and quick.
