Just visited this store today. I questioned the price of prepared pork spare ribs pricing there is only about four ribs in the package and the price was over $17. The old man that checked me out said if I did not like the price that I can go to Woodland Park for my business. I told him thank you for the advice and I definitely will from now on. This is when he started spouting out his liberal socialist Nazi bullshit on me. This guy does not represent your store in a good light.

We drive from north Colorado Springs to the Market to buy their fresh produce and quality meats about 4 times per year..This time we were hit with "our coolers quit working".Last time I saw something like that, the business went out of business. Cooler repairs are very costly and most people will just cut bait and go their merry way. I suspect the owner will do the same rather than spend big bucks for repairs.Here is a novel idea, how about repairing the coolers and getting a warranty when they go down again.We will go back the beginning of summer. I expect the Market will be done and turned into another business ,maybe a shoe store.

I have been shopping at this store for 14 years now and for the most part, have had no problems. Just in the last 6 months, the employees have gone from bad to worse, and I really cant blame management with help hard to come by. Today, 8/2/24, I stopped in as usual on Friday to pick up a few things. They had 2 employees at the deli basically doing nothing when I asked for some sandwich meat cut, this was before 11 Am. They told me they will not cut any deli meat cause they would have to do clean up and they were shutting the deli at 1:30. Needless to say I told them thats BS and got the manager over there. The woman from the deli runs over and tells me I need to call the person that called in sick and get them to come in. I said what does that have to do with you doing your job, at this point, I`m getting angry. I will give kudos to the manager because he came over, bagged my groceries, gave me a few items for nothing and said go to pre-packaged meat, he will give it to me at no charge. In my opinion, the two lazy workers should be fired immediately for refusing customers for no reason, and this is the second time these 2 have done this to me and I have seen them do this other times as well. There is another checker there who needs checkout lessons, she is an older gal with lots of make up and has the most arrogant attitude I have seen. She will not bag 1 item and as soon as she sends your stuff down the counter, she will start checking out another person and send their items into yours, then acts like its my fault cause I dont have my items bagged.
