As I start this, the manager Crystal is a very polite and wanting to make your stay is comfortable. The high point of my stay.If I was told sooner that my service dog was just considered a pet to the owners, I would have canceled my trip to here. It was three days when one of the owners made what I consider as a put down of me as well as my service dog. If I was told sooner than the three days, I would have canceled my trip all together and gladly lose only $20, instead if I canceled on that day I would have lost nearly $450.Ask any veteran if their service dog is only a pet. For those who do not realize this, but a veteran and their service dog is just one entity. The service dog being considered a pet is like telling someone with an artificial limb if that part of the vet is a "pet". The service dog is a part of the veteran and has specific duties to that veteran and is trained to do those duties to assist the veteran. My service dog has 8 specific jobs to help me live my life, he is never to be considered just a "pet" as I had been told. This is sent out to my brothers and sisters on just how unwanted we are going here, as well as The Lodge @ San Isabel Lake and Aspen Acres.Realistically, all I wanted was some sort of acknowledgement that it was an honest mistake in saying that, but when there is silence that screams louder than what words could ever say.

We eat breakfast here every Sunday. It is a beautiful drive up to San Isabel. I love their breakfast, and my second favorite is to have their Chef Salad for dinner. If we are going to have a large group, we call ahead and they always have a place for us. The service is warm and friendly, with a quiet mountain atmosphere. Worth the drive up the mountain!

We found this amazing place on our way to Bishop castle, and decided to get married here! We rented out most of the cabins for the wedding guests, and everyone got to stay close by! The restaurant food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. They were extremely accommodating and let us keep the flowers and cake in their walk-in. The cabins are cute, cozy and clean. The screened in porches make it nice to enjoy the weather regardless of bugs or rain. Stephanie was very helpful in meeting with us, even in off-season, to make sure we got everything we needed. HIGHLY recommend!

I have never stayed somewhere where I had to make so many requests/complaints! 1. Soap was out in bathroom2. Toilet paper was very low and no refills.3. The floors were so filthy I they made our feet black. The bathroom floors were sticky.4. The kitchen sponge was very disgusting. 5. There weren't any coffee filters and we had to scrub the coffee pot first.6. The grill was disgusting. Scraping the grill did little to help.7. The outlet for the TV didn't work.8. The cables to the VCR were gone. VCR, lol!9. The website said the propane tanks rental was $10 and their handout also said $10 and yet we were charged $15 10. Website said boat rentals were available and they weren't. They weren't out, they simply didn't have them. 11. Window screens were torn or gone and one window was cracked. 12. Worst of all, the stairs had a loose board and nail. I tripped and got hurt. I'm disabled and it's the last thing I needed!Yes it's a cabin. If it had been $50 a night I'd understand but they're $135 a night. Not worth it!!!!!!!

What a fantastic stay we had. Cabin is rustic, clean and comfortable. We didn't want the hustle and traffic of the big city. Miranda was over the top kind. We rested well in those big soft beds. Thank you for a relaxing stay that was much needed.

Would not recommend this place. My family had a very bad experience. First the cabin they stayed in was very dirty with food in window seals,stove covered in grease second no hot water in cabin. You would think they would try and keep up with the cabins for as much as they charge...
