We had a handicap room on the first floor with 2 queen beds. Employees were helpful. Made reservation at the Steakhouse great dinner. Learned that even if you bring your own wine Colorado law won't let you drink it in a restaurant. Did a lot of room drinking. They have 4 pools, adult only, lap pool, family pool and a kids splash pool. Have people going around to see if you need anything. Several tennis and pickle ball courts inside, workout areas and locker rooms that are top notch. The Flying Horse golf course is worth doing just for the views. The course plays long with lots of side hill lies. Greens are undulating multi level smoothness. In other words tricky to read.

the only reason I gave a 1 star was because the room was beautiful. the service was absolutely horrible. if you stay here don't ask any questions as the staff was really bothered. No Smiles at this resort. my husband saved for this mini vacation complete waste of money.

We had never heard of FHL, and wanted to stay somewhere different than a chain hotel for our NYE getaway. If we ranked the hotel just on service, it would be 6 stars. The lady that checked us in was such a smiling warm welcome She was genuinely happy to greet us and tell us about the property. Her warm spirit kicked off our weekend with such a great energy. Certainly didn't feel like just a number like when check-in at a chain hotel. As we walked to our cottage, two more employees made it a point to say hello. Then we open the door to the view of our room, and instantly excited as little kids on Christmas. The room was perfectly appointed for a couple. Remote control fireplace, views from all windows, a true king size bed, counters and sinks for two, comfortably tall for my 6'4" husband. A shower that was fit for an estate, with a jetted massage tub, triple head shower, and private door to toilet. And then the closet. A walk in, plenty of built in shelves, and hangers - and a little fridge with an ice maker. My husband loved the ice maker! Lol. This doesn't even cover the view. Ah, the view. Gorgeous. Since we left, we've talked about FHL being one of our favorites several times. We can't wait to get back.

The view from our room is BREATHTAKING. The entire lodge and room is pristine. We will absolutely be returning to this heaven on earth. The sunset takes three hours to set on those beautiful mountains and we have fallen asleep on our balcony twice. If I could make a change, it would be a way in through the doorway down by the stairs on the far end of our building. It is magnificent. I'd recommend this to anyone. This is also the most comfortable bed that we've ever slept on! Friendly staff and a wonderful spa experience to boot. What is not to love?!

This was a complete bait and switch. !!!! Run away because tTheir promised views from the rooms is fake. I got a view of the parking lot. When complained they blamed Expedia and wanted to seriously up charge me! The room is well appointed but spend your money elsewhere. Overpriced and truly under delivered !!!!But they did try by giving me one night free, because some tried to come into my room. If I wasn't there for the Air Force graduation I would have looked elsewhere for rooms There wasn't any at any price

This is a two for me. But aesthetically and service-wise it is a four so bridging the distance. Very pretty hotel. Great looking rooms. Good, if old school dining and great drinks. The bed was as hard as a rock and it was a miserable sleep, I was in pain and sleepless the entire trip from those mattresses. Cute place, bummer about that bed.

Everything was fantastic! Location, view, staff, & amenities! We stayed here on a whim and WOW were we impressed! It's a beautiful resort (aka Lodge) with delicious, fresh, locally sourced food at The Steakhouse (onsite). Our most relaxing part was enjoying the amenities at the Clubhouse Spa/Pool.We will definitely be going back! Oh, and they have delicious Nespresso coffee in the room!

My wife and I were in town for a wedding and decided to stay the night here. This place is absolutely stunning and the customer service is top notch. I 100% recommend the steakhouse here on campus. My wife and I are planning a getaway back here when we can spend a week.

The room looked clean at first, but in the light we were horrified to find oily dripping handprints on the headboard from what we could only assume. There where also urine crystals around the toilet from urine not being cleaned, and there was a hair with a follicle stuck in the coffeemaker water valve. We loved the property but will not be staying here again.
