The Hot Spot in Colorado Springs offers an excellent AYCE hot pot experience! The broth options are flavorful, the ingredients are fresh, and the variety of meats, veggies, and add-ons make it perfect for group dining. Service is attentive and keeps the experience smooth. Highly recommend for a fun and satisfying meal! Inside is very vibey and they do offer live music at night

Delicious food! Great service and very attentive staff. I loved the wall of tvs that they had setup as a giant fireplace it creates a very homey feeling. We started with tempura shrimp, French fries & pork fried egg rolls. All super delicious! The fries were super fresh & nice n crispy. We all had a nice bowl of pho, chicken for me & brisket for the hubby. Also very delicious.

My husband and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening ... the owners and servers were SUPER nice and friendly! Very welcoming! The entrance is located inside the citadel mall, and it would have been nice to know this before venturing to this place, maybe they can put the best entrance to get to the place on yelp? Just a helpful suggestion??The food was good and good portions for sure! We ordered the all you can eat hot pot...super hot and super tasty! The shrimp and meat you put into the hot pot to cook was delicious and the flavor of the soup itself was a little bland, but once you got all the other veggies, flavors and spices into the soup it did become much better. And how could I forget about the bartender who came over with the biggest smile and asked us if we would like a shot (smaller than an actual shot) of Remy! Who would turn that down?? Not us! It went surprisingly well with the soup ! If I was not so full from the soup, I would have ordered a shot! Overall, super nice place to go and enjoy hot , hot soup ! Or other Vietnamese dishes. Oh and the koi, bubblehead goldfish and money fish in the fish tanks were absolutely beautiful! I always say, if your fish tanks are clean, your house is clean!

I really did love this place and the idea of it. The food was delicious and all you can eat for $30 is not bad at all. The woman who appeared to be running everything was very helpful. Now the only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because the service is not the best. My husband and I had ordered tempura shrimp which we never got and after we had finished the first round of food they never brought out any more... even though it's all you can eat. That part was extremely disappointing because it was a nice spot to go to. But who knows, it could have been an off night for them.

It states the hotpot costs $28.95. So why was I charged $33.56 (tax is not $4.61). We did not over order, and ate 99% of the food provided. We did not finish the pork belly, spitting out the rind was unappealing. The shrimp comes with the shell on, not easy to eat. I like the idea of the food, but cooking my own a an over charging me is not okay!

We visited CO Springs (weekend of 2/9/2024) and it was cold and snowy on a Saturday. A perfect time for hot pot!So I did some research, suggested to our friends who live in CO Springs and off we went. This was the first time they had hot pot or shabu and they loved it.TONS OF FOOD! I believe it's AYCE because of all the food we ordered. There were four of us so maybe we ordered wrong (and too much). I confirmed with staff on how to order after choosing the broth and she said each can order whatever we want from the list. So we got 4 broccoli orders for four people and it was WAY TO MUCH! Same with two tofu orders, and other veggies, shrimp, meat etc.Holy crap that was a lot of food. We did our best to finish because there's a charge if you over-order (but they didn't charge us). Lots of leftovers. If you're hungry THIS is the place to go. Definitely holds up to the Shabu restaurants in the LA area.

Seen this place in the mall and decided to check it out. Ambiance was good. Clean with lots of lighting and a couple of fish tanks. We were welcome very politely. We were told about the menu and what the hot burners were on the tables. I enjoyed my meal as so did the family. Very generous people & they showed great hospitality. Very welcoming. We will return!Thank you for everything

I am visiting from out of town for work. Used yelp to find done hot pot for this cold weather. Absolutely terrible...if your restaurant tag line starts with "Hot Pot" you should have real hot pot. They are a Vietnamese restaurant selling their unused product as "hot pot" items. They have zero sauces outside of the "pho" sauces, the veggies are old and brown, and their meat is sub par as they claim it is "premium". I even asked if they had something simple like sesame oil, and they didn't. Service is atrocious...they don't speak English and when I arrived I stood there for 5 mins with zero service or host when the restaurant had no clients. The waiter got my order incorrect even though it's a sheet you mark. When I tried to call him to get his attention, he ignored me, even though I was saying "excuse me" several times and waved my hands quite vigorously (the man was standing 6 feet from the table). Maybe their Vietnamese dishes are edible, but I would never go back.

This place is awful. The proportions of each servings is uneven, you will get very little meat and lots of noodles where they are trying to scam you. They don't know how to pour water, left a mess on the floor. You have to finish the food you ordered in order to order more. The camera flashes meaning they are watching you. The waiter was being very sassy when we wanted to order more food. When we walked out, the person didn't even say thank you when he definitely saw us.
