I was pleased to find the triple-milled French soap ("Verbena" by Pré de Provence) that I love, and the proprietress couldn't have been friendlier.(I was stuck in a hotel in Colorado Springs, and I'm one of those picky gay Okie bitches who refuses to be without his favorite soap. Hotel soap generally sucks ass.)I picked up a few Christmas goodies for my sister-in-law, too, and can't wait to see her face when she opens her Yuletide packages.A lovely little place.Five easy stars.

I went yesterday with my husband and our daughter. We had the very best time! The owner was amazing, sweet and so very delightful! She even did free Christmas gift wrapping, and it's early November. Can't wait to go back and find more soaps! I tried the lemongrass soap from France this morning and the smell just made me smile and wake up easily. I love this soap I feel so squeaky clean and I love that it's all natural and made with Shea butter! What a wonderful treat it was, we will be back many more times! The best customer services I've ever experienced by far!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!

This place is such a unique find!! I was not expecting this awesome find walking around Old Colorado City. The owner was so kind and helpful, she helped us find the perfect gift for one of our family members. We could not have had a more pleasant experience! You have to visit the Holly Leaf when visiting Old Colorado City.

In May of 2016, Linda and John merged The Soap Box and more with The Holly Leaf. While a majority of the store is a Gift and Christmas store, the new owners are carrying all of the brands (Crabtree & Evelyn) Linda carried. I went in looking for a specific lotion for my wife and they didn't have it but Julie was absolutely wonderful in 1) finding the item I needed 2) ordering the item for me so we didn't find it somewhere else. I was very pleased with their willingness to help. The new owners said that they are willing to find and carry any items that Linda's customers had previously bought. All they need do is make their request.
