The Historic Pinecrest

Let me start by saying the venue itself is very nice that is why I am giving 3 stars. The individual tour guide we were provided however soured our experience of this potential wedding venue. The guide was not able to provide basic information about the venue itself, to include their catering prices, the tax and service fees, and other miscellaneous info. My fiancé and I then told the guide multiple times that we intended on being married at the outside ceremony site and wished to see the location, but we were told "not today it's snowing". Tough to sell a venue when you refuse to show the customer what they want. We were very excited for this venue however the guide we given was the specific reason we did not choose this venue.

I just had my wedding here in December 2021. It is a beautiful venue with kind people to work with. I chose it because it is an "all inclusive" and I didn't have to find any of my own vendors aside from a photographer. The day overall went smoothly. It was super nice to be able to choose the base package but you can customize it as much as you want, you just have to go through the vendors separately. A couple of things that could have been smoother for us: - we did end up having to pay each vendor out of pocket for things that I think should be included (ex: using real plates and cutlery rather than plastic). I was fine with paying for some other upgrades that we chose, but some of it seemed odd to not be automatically included.- I wish we could have had the venue all day. There wasn't an event in the morning, but instead we had to find somewhere else to get ready instead of paying $300/hr to get ready at the venue- after the ceremony it felt a bit rushed to get the bridal party out of the chapel. All the bridesmaids had to get their things out of the back immediately.Overall, I'm extremely happy with the day and event. Russell and Faith were great to work with and I would definitely do it all over again.

What a beautiful wedding! The sound system was a bit in and out, but that might have been user-specific. The wedding chapel is beautiful. And the reception room is everything you need it to be, including an outdoor patio for some fresh mountain air. Gorgeous!!

This place is excellent!!! Very romantic and completely ideal for any style wedding. Our wedding was vintage themed and it suited it so beautifully. It felt very homely, and there was plenty of space for all 200 of our guests! We got married in August, and it rained a little bit but I cannot be more thankful for the indoor space. The trees around turned a beautiful lush green after the rain. The lighting was a little difficult for the photographer, but still turned out really well. I will recommend this place for any new bride looking for a venue with a grand elegance.

it is a nice venue and was perfect for my daughter to be married in. The reason for the 3 stars is because I feel like there was not a lot of follow through on some things. 1) No one was here at the lodge to greet us (which was fine until all the other things happened) 2) The time constraints in decorating are a bit ridiculous. We had a lot of details to the wedding so it took time to put together. I had traveled from Texas so there was not much I could do before hand. I think we should be able to completely decorate the venue and the chapel the day before so the day of goes smoother for us. If we are staying in the lodge and paid insurance why would we not be allowed to decorate past 6PM the night before? 3) We had wanted to higher servers which we were told would be 2 adult females and when it come down to it we had two you teenage boys. They did a phenomenal job but that is not who we had discussed would be there. Just small things that make life harder for the parents and the wedding g party. I personally would not use this venue again or suggest it bc of the small stuff that made my day more stressful.

I was having a small intimate wedding with only a couple guests. Since my wedding was so small the owner thought it would be a perfect time to have road work done. Also the communication leading up to the big day was terrible. I would call leaving a voicemail and not get a response. If I sent a email it would take weeks for a reply. I understand my small intimate wedding wasn't a huge money maker however I am still a paying customer who deserves the same respect as someone who was having a huge wedding. The actual Chapel was gorgeous Just to bad about the service.

I booked this place for my wedding 4 yrs ago and now my sister is getting married May 2015 and she too is using Pinecrest as her venue. They make it so easy to plan, affordable, classy, and leave lasting impressions on everyone. If I would have booked the photographer, food, catering, flowers, DJ, venue, and church all separately it would have costed me much more and the hassle of dealing with the coordination and communication between it all would have been a disaster. At Pinecrest all is included and/or they have local dealers they work with constantly and can refer you to anyone. The workers are so helpful, friendly, and professional. I'm so excited for my sister's wedding and glad she found a slot being they book up quick!!!

Our daughter and her new husband were married just a little over a week ago at Pinecrest Wedding & Event Venue. Amber, Russell and their team exceeded our expectations at every turn. They are wonderful to work with!! We were planning a wedding from out of state with only a couple of times visiting in the area prior to the wedding day. They took care of everything with a smile and a hug. We didn't have the budget for an expensive wedding, but they treated us like royalty anyway. Our daughter's dream for her wedding day was beyond what she hoped for. Amber has a flare for design, so the decorations (included in the price) were amazing and definitely Pinterest worthy!!!! Amber's attention to detail and her team meant that I had little to do on the day of the wedding, relieving me a lot of stress! The venue is straight out of a fairy tale and so picturesque!!! There isn't one thing I would have changed - and that is saying a lot for a wedding! The ceremony and reception hall were so beautiful, especially with the renovations! Every single one of the vendors they recommended were exceptional as well and so great to work with!! We highly recommend Pinecrest!!!!

Just had our daughters wedding here last week and it was wonderful, fantastic, beautiful, and well worth it! We were very satisfied with the price and what we got for it. To start with the staff knows what they are doing, walks you through everything, are very accommodating and while professional very personable! Beautiful chapel with all the decorations to chose from as well as bride and groom rooms. Great sound system and acoustics. They had no problem with my younger son running the music for the wedding and reception. The reception hall is fantastic. Enough room for feeding a big party, dancing , mingling you name it. We were able to setup early, cater it ourselves, and besides clearing our stuff out they did the rest. Highly recommend this venue. Think you will save money for out of high season and non weekend days. We did Thursday and it was perfect! Thank you to Maria and Linda who made our daughters day come off without a hitch but didn't bankrupt us as well!

This is a one stop shop for wedding services. All facilities were very clean and beautiful! This was a wonderful location for us to have a wedding. Helping us with the bartender and coordinators was very beneficial. We appreciate your continued communication throughout the wedding planning process and last minutes details! We will recommend your facilities to anyone into the future with similar needs.
