The Gold Pan Saloon

Just tried to get into the Pan on New Years. I respected the bouncer when he said they were at capacity. He turned me away. Fine. I waited till someone left. Two guys left and so I tried to re-enter. This bouncer instantly got hostile/agressive and yelled they were at capacity and shoved me back out the door. the guy then shut the door and started dancing. Absolute shit show. All I wanted to do was find my sister and leave. So unprofessional and unfortunate because I like the Pan. Guess actual locals don't have a place in town any more. Edit: I've lived here 32 years. Never had a problem with The Pan. This is my first review on Yelp. This can't fly in Breck. Patric can do better.

I see all the good reviews and hoping we just hit it on an off night....We headed to Gold Pan Saloon after a cold rainy hike. My husband had been there before so we decided to try it again.We walked right in and sat down. There were 2 high top tables with "reserved" signs so we had to sit up front by the live music. I love live music, but where we had to sit was very loud. Once the live music ended, they took the "reserved" signs off the high tops. No one ever sat there. While we sat right down, someone handed us menus... then no one waited on us. A server went to the table next to us - and those people sat down about 10 mins after we had sat down. He continued to walk right by us. We finally flagged down the girl who brought us the menus and she said she thought the other server was taking care of us. Ok... a mix up but still.Food and drink: I ordered the "tap" cabernet sauvignon from the winery next door. It was not good. $12 for a glass that I couldn't drink. I ordered my burger medium well and it was more like medium or medium... lots of pink. It was just so so. My daughter-in-law's boyfriend ordered the same burger and he agreed his was just ok. Everyone loved the french onion soup... so there's that!All in all it was an ok place. I'm not sure we'd go back. There are lots of restaurants on that Main St in Breck.

Cool vibe, great drinks but service just ok. Wanted to check out the oldest bar in Breckenridge so stopped in just for drinks. We enjoyed the drinks but service was mediocre.

We popped into this little hidden gem for lived music with a large group. We had a great time dancing the night away and hanging close to the old wood stove! Drinks are ok. Service was quick. Ambience was good!We will definitely be back for live music!

great variety for happy hour. We got chicken tacos, ribs, chicken slider, garlic parm fries, and a lamb meatball. ribs were slightly hard but my tequila soda was strong and was only $6. such a good deal in breck. Garrett was our server he was great!

Fun Dive Bar just steps away from the slopes in Breckenridge. We had a great girls night out at the Gold Pan Saloon! Came in around 6pm on a Saturday after finishing a wine tasting next door. We heard there would be "live music". Apparently that means one guys with a guitar. The chips and queso were good and the drinks were strong so we stayed a while. Around 8pm, the musician put away his guitar and played his saxophone. We're not big Kenny G fans, so we left soon after. We had so much fun while we were there though.

Typical Main Street pub. We snagged a sidewalk 2 top our front and went in to let them know we were seated. It took a minute to get service but once we did we were pleased. The chips and queso are good. We added pulled pork and mushrooms to ours and it amped it up! Tea was good and service not bad. Inside is the typical main street pub. We would visit again.

So yummy ! We had the lamb French dip and a Caesar salad. Loaded with fresh lamb, onions and a bowl brimming with Ajou .. my taste exploding . Good music, casual and will come back !

We visited here a couple of times while in Breck. In the day it is a quiet little hole in the wall with reasonably priced decent food. Service for us was quick and uneventful. My favorite was the burger and fries my husband and I split. When the live music starts at night Gold Pan transforms into a rowdy little hole in the wall! The music is not overly loud and pretty good. The buzz of people gets louder and the place is just very lively. I liked coming here because it is laid back and unpretentious.

Loved the atmosphere, very local and the food and drinks were amazing! Had the braised ribs, highly recommend!
