Beautiful shop with a large selection of rocks and gems. If you're looking for something special, they are likely to have it. I could spend hours there!

Found this place on TikTok and it did not disappoint. My wife & I took our toddler out to the dinosaur museum across the way and stoped here after. 10/10! Loved everything. Such great prices on the raw cuts that are outside. Our first visit was for some small stones and next was for the larger pieces. The prices are fair and quality unmatched. I always wanted to have crystals stored around the home and now was able to do so without breaking the bank. Can't wait to visit again and stock up. Wish the shipped. *it was a little awkward being started at. The women were friendly but the men kept staring at my wife & I like we were exotic animals lol guess they're not use to many POC. Still a 10/10 "for the crystals"

Coolest rock shop I've ever been too. This place is massive. Inside is full of all sorts of polished rocks, jewelry, etc. They also have a huge outdoor section full of all kinds of bulk, raw rock. This place has such a huge variety and so many cool rocks that I've never even heard of. It's conveniently located right at the turn off for the Royal Gorge Bridge, and definitely worth the stop if you have time and are into this kind of thing. The staff member that helped us was super friendly and gave us recommendations on some other fun stuff to do in the area.

Quick fun stop across the street from the dinosaur exhibit! If you need to kill 15-20 minutes, this is a good place to wander the outdoor path of interesting rocks! My kids loved it ;)

This is a very cool place, we just happened to stop by last weekend. They have a large selection and decently priced items. They don't have just local rocks, they have rocks from international locations. The staff was very helpful and super nice. We were able to get some great Christmas gifts along with a couple trinkets for family members.

This place truly IS a gold mine for rock hounds and gem enthusiasts. It's right across the road from the Echo Canyon rafting company - you'll see the big, glittering sign from the highway.Outside, you'll see a "train" of mining-style carts piled high with huge rocks of quartz, calcite, amethyst, obsidian, mica, and many more. The rest of the outdoor lot is just big piles of dozens more minerals. And it's so cheap - many are just $1 or $2 a pound! Tables set up in the courtyard have smaller and more fragile items, like selenite pillars, rock salt votives, and geodes and crystals ($1 and up). There's also a decorative display of impressively large and colorful rocks. I saw some gorgeous blue calcite and even some things I'd never seen before, like chevron amethyst.Inside are more typical and gift-shoppey items: finished jewelry, polished stones and pendants, carved figurines, and the like. They also have some books and guides and souvenir junk. The staff is friendly and helpful and wrap up your items carefully for travel. If you like gemstones and minerals, or even if you're just in the area and want to check out a unique store with lots of local flavor, the Gold Mine is totally worth a stop!

It's rare to find rock shops with so many authentic crystals! there is something of everything here. The prices are amazing, right on point for the different crystals. Something for every budget. I hope to return again to Colorado and this is a must stop. I would recommend to anyone pas thru, in the area, visiting the Royal Gorge.

My favorite rock shop anywhere! Huge selection, excellent quality, and friendly owners. A little bit on the pricey side - I'm sure to pay for the new bldg. & upgrades - but still worth the trip.

Went to this rock and fossil store with little before hand experience of rock stores. Got a geode, fibrous malachite, shark teeth, and my favorite was the miners bucket. In this bucket, the store selects rocks and fossils by hand and puts them in compact sand. A surprisingly fun activity for rock enthusiasts of all ages. Will be returning.
