Our daughter spent almost 3 years going to The Goddard School in Castle Rock. She is starting Kindergarten and thus her enrollment at Goddard has come to an end. My wife and I couldn't be more happy/proud at how much she has grown socially and intellectually during her time here. Everyone, starting with the office staff, to the teachers, and owners care deeply about the children. They structure the kids' day and engage in actual lesson plans. At the end of everyday the room teacher sends a personal summary of what they learned to your email. Every week there is a "theme" which involves daily topics that connect to it. At the beginning of the year all of the classrooms do an "around the world" event where the kids learn about different countries. They then invite families to come visit and share in their learning.During Summer time they have summer camp, which includes splash days, bike days, soccer buddies, visits from the Zoo where they bring animals to the classrooms for the kids to see/learn about, and an occasional visit from Kona Ice. If you're looking for a great preschool for your child, then you've come to the right place. I highly recommend The Goddard School. Once you meet Nancy and Vince (the owners) you'll see for yourself how much they care about what they do.

We are absolutely impressed with Goddard so far! I feel great dropping him off in the morning knowing he'll have a fun filled and educational day! His teachers are wonderful and really made our transition easy. They were very patient and really understood the emotional needs of our son when he first started, giving him lots of love and attention. I love the pictures I get of him during the day and the activities they do are both creative and a great learning opportunity. I can tell already he is just blossoming in his program and look forward to the next couple of years!

I chose not to enroll children in this facility, and unless you're millionaires, good luck affording it. Two kids is more than a month's rent in a furnished apartment!! I'm not going to pay Harvard tuition for a two year old. Absolutely ridiculous. Other than a 10% second child discount, they were completely unapologetic in their pricing. They offer no aid for those who can't afford it, and justify it because "we're right in the middle of the pack when it comes to the schools in Castle Rock and our school is full, with parents who work." Glad that helps you sleep at night.

Our son spent three years at Goddard, and it was an exceptional environment for his educational and social growth. The curriculum and activities were enjoyable, but also thoroughly prepared him for kindergarten. The school and classrooms are safe and impeccably clean. Multiple classrooms foster age-appropriate development, and teachers provide individualized attention to each child. Daily reports and periodic parent/teacher conferences always kept us fully abreast of our son's progress. In sum, Vince, Nancy, and the entire staff run a top-flight school. For parents in the Castle Rock area looking for a great school for their pre-K child, Goddard should be at the top of the list.

The Goddard School is an exceptional choice for early childhood education. My son has become an entirely different kid in the few short months since he started at GS. He is more social, brave, and tolerant of new environments than he was before he started. He loves to sing and he brings home new ideas and stories and songs every day. He loves his teachers and his friends. It's a clean, safe environment and you can tell the teachers and staff care about every single student for whom they are responsible. Choosing your child's first school is a daunting task but Vince and Nancy make it as easy as possible and really want to work WITH the parents to determine what will be best for each child. The school also offers additional activities, like Parents' Night Out, to engage the school community. Honestly, the hardest part will be having to leave when my son is old enough to attend full day school. The Goddard school will not be the cheapest option for childcare, but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for and I am getting more than my money's worth with them.

The staff couldn't be nicer and they all know my son's name. I feel like they really care about my son and his success. My also really likes the staff. I also like the fact that it is a school and not glorified babysitting.

The Goddard School of Castle Rock is a wonderful school! We have had two children start in the infant classroom and work their way through to PreK. I have one son that is in first grade now and is in his current schools gifted program, although he is a very bright child, I can fully say that Goddard helped with his success in school. My other son is also thriving at the new school and was told by his teacher that we can always tell which kiddos have come from Goddard. Such a compliment! I can honestly say that I have heard horror stories from other parents about their daycare experiences and I cannot think of a single negative thing in our 6+ years with Goddard. If you are looking for structure, exceptional care and an overall great experience...send your child here!

Our experience started out fine but turned bad quickly.the teachers my son had were great however the owners are not nice to working parents and will yell at you over the phone if your child does one thing wrong. After being yelled at 3 times by the owners and not being properly communicated to we decided to pull our child out. This is sad because he really liked it there other than he would come home and tell me that Mr. Vince and Ms. Nancy (the owners) were mean to him and did not like him. The owners are very greedy and only want money. I hAve had a few of their teachers share that with me and have emails from the owners stating that they have a huge wait list if kids wanting to come in to the school when I stated expressing concerns. Also the front office people are not friendly and never say hello. It is sad that this place is more concerned about making money than caring about the children.

Our son attends Goddard Castle Rock and we could not feel more blessed to have found them. They have helped us raise a happy, smart and social little boy. We feel strongly enough about the method and the staff to strongly recommend the school. Thank you Goddard for everything!
