The Flipping Peddler

We wanted to explore and I wanted to visit some antique shops. This was our first stop and walking in a loved the local artist's work in wood. A beautiful bench and bear. Walking in the one room and then the main room, we explored the nooks and crannies and found some great stuff. I was impressed by how the store supports local artists and good causes with their work and fundraisers allowed in the store. Met the shop owner Kathy who provided lots of local information for my friend who has a house in the area. Also met Zero the store mascot/dog. Poor baby needs an operation and they were raising money for that. He was adopted and is such a cutie. Prices are in line with stores in the area. I found a sewing practice kit and kit to make cat stuffies. He found some stained glass art for his property. The cashier was super friendly too. It was a great visit.

First time here and was very happy. Very clean. Prices easy to see. I wish I lived closer. We went to most of the antique stores here in Florence and liked many of them, but this was our favorite. Hope to come back one of these days.
