We found this place while doing a weekend in Manitou Springs. It's a speakeasy where you can play games (lots of options supplied) have some cocktails and snacks! Loved the vibe and decor! The only reason I am docking one point is because the craft cocktails are pretty pricey for the size. Cool names and they all tasted good but they are very small. Our server was nice and attentive so no issues there. I would recommend the place but stick to beer, wine and canned drinks.

We are big fans of board games, so this place was a hit! As they were taking us to the back, these guys shopping for board games had no idea it was a speakeasy bar! We could hear them whisper, "Where are they going?" we played 4 different games during our 2 hours, it was hard to pick just one! My pizza was delicious, perfectly cooked, and enough to fill me up, but you definitely could share it for a table. I chose the hot chocolate, so rich, and it tasted as if it had a little mint to it, and I liked that! The server was kind, she didn't check in us much, but I think they want you to enjoy playing the games without interruption, so they keep water at your table to serve yourself. One downside is, the tables are VERY close to one another, to try and get a seat in the booth, you are sliding between the two tables, almost knocking over drinks or messing up a game. For a speakeasy, it's bright, but they do want you to be able to play games, and the selection of games is vast! What is so wonderful is you can buy a game right after if you loved it! If you like board games, come check this place out!

The Fifty-Niner is an awesome little speakeasy hidden away behind the Dice Guys game store. Fantastic atmosphere with ample seating and tons of games to enjoy while you eat and drink. Their motif is more of the Harry Potter theme and nicely decorated. Limited menu for food however just super exotic drinks. Adam, the owner was very personable, took the time to get to know us. Made us these memorizing drinks. We enjoyed the hand made personal pizzas (with Vegan options) Kept very true to how speakeasies should be run. The drinks are available in non-alcohol versions also.We had an enjoyable evening with food and drinks. Will definitely visit again when we return to Colorado SpringsThe Fifty-Niner is an awesome little speakeasy hidden away behind the Dice Guys game store. The Fifty-Niner is my new favorite place to go in Old Colorado City. We enjoyed uniquely crafted cocktails made by the owner, excellent wine and a really impressive menu. Genevieve served us a charcuterie board of intentionally paired food and explained how to explore it! She was very friendly and made our experience perfect. There are games at this speakeasy for real gamers and for just anybody to enjoy. It is truly a cool concept and a must see for people who enjoy the finer things. The people are great, the atmosphere is comfortable and the menu is worth trying completely. Can't wait to return!

Enjoyed the cheese platter and cocktails. Extra treat was the chocolate chip cookie with a scoop. The super service made our anniversary special!

This place is so cute!! Tucked away in the back of the game store. Went there before our dinner date for 2 hours. The cocktails were great, there is over 200 board games to choose from, so we grabbed one and played while we drank and snacked on the charcuterie board. They had live music from 7-10pm and they were REALLY GOOD. All the servers were so sweet and friendly. Great service, Can't wait to come back!

My wife and I came in for lunch a few months back, and it was dead. This definitely isn't a lunch place so do not come at that time.We just grabbed some cocktails which were pretty good and then left. The only reason it gets 4 stars is unless you know exactly where it is, it's hard to find.

If a board game-centric speakeasy doesn't intrigue you, what are you even doing on a Saturday night?! This is the spot to be. Food: delicious (gluten-free and vegan options aplenty). Location: perfect (right by the public parking lot in OCC). Drinks: great (non-alcoholic and boozy options available). Ambiance: gorgeous (comfortable enough for a 2-hour game!) I'm just so excited this spot exists. Bring your own game or check one out from the library!

Three days before Valentine's Day, we get this timely message from the 59er via Open Table:____________________________Fifty-Niner!Hello! Unfortunately we have overbooked for Valentine's Day due to an event we have taking place at 7 PM. Opentables and the other website wherein we were selling tickets (Eventbrite) did not sync correctly, so we will be over maximum capacity for the time you initially made your reservation time for. This is due to our personal oversight and we apologize profusely for the mistake. If you would like to come in before the event and leave before 7 PM, you are more than welcome to, but you will not have a full 2-hour time block as per the usual and will have to leave before the event starts. We can also put you on a waitlist and have the possibility (but not guarantee) to seat you based on turnout before the event begins at 7 PM.______________________________Ruined our Valentine's Day plans, and their solution is not the least bit helpful if you work till 5pm. A nice note doesn't fix the problem they caused due to their IT incompetence, and who plans a big event but takes reservations on top of that? I did that years ago, without a computer...No worries. Will never cross your threshold.

Tried out this place for my birthday, and it did not disappoint. Our server, Genevieve made great drinks and a beautiful charcuterie board that we couldn't even finish. They even gave me a delicious raspberry doughnut cheesecake for my birthday. We got there at five so it was a little bright in the room But a nice place to relax and play games.
