One of the few restaurants serving Thanksgiving meals. Another great experience at The Famous. A great way to celebrate this special day away from family.

I was so so pleasantly surprised by this steakhouse. The dining room was well lit and clean with a modern take on a classic steakhouse. I ordered the cowboy cut ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. The steak had an incredible crust and the bone marrow finishing was surprisingly not overwhelming. The sides - asparagus, mushrooms, mashed potatoes - were all cooked well and very flavorful. Get all the desserts. The creme brûlée was perfect - thick crunchy brûlée, smooth creamy custard. Definitely a meal to remember. I'll be back whenever I'm back in the Springs.

A great place for an anniversary dinner! The parking is a little scarce, but the food is worth it. The drinks were strong and tasty. The steaks and sides were delicious. The service was great!

Beyond incredible. Best steak I've ever had in my life and my boyfriend said top three and that's coming from both of us having eaten the best steakhouse in chicago. The difference is they finish their steaks with bone marrows instead of butter and the result is so flavorful and incredible flat iron and it's like butter in your mouth but better! Everything we have was perfect from the tiger prawns to the dessert and they even had a port flight! 12/10 would go here again!A splurge but worth every penny and then some.

Old school steak house, dark and masculine, from days gone by. Steaks are always good, service is top notch. The cocktails are great! Yes, it may be a little pricy but it's so worth it.

My wife and I have lived in Colorado Springs for several years now, but had never eaten at The Famous Steakhouse. We had friends visiting from out of state, and they asked to go to a great steakhouse to eat. Their hotel was very close to the restaurant, so I recommended we should eat at The Famous. That was my big mistake. The steak selection was SHOCKINGLY disappointing. They had a very small selection, and the options they did have were pedestrian. They offered no dry-aged cuts, and no Japanese or Australian Wagyu (A5 or other). I ordered their only off-menu special, a Surf & Turf. The only aspect that was more disappointing than the minuscule portion size of the tenderloin and lobster, was the absolute generic taste of the food. It was not horrible, but it was FAR from fantastic. If I looked in the kitchen and saw my neighbor with his BBQ grill, I would not have been shocked...because it tasted like average to below-average backyard BBQ. The service was fair (not amazing, but also not horrible). The ambience was fair (not amazing, but also not horrible). Bottom line: The Steakhouse at Flying Horse, Prime 25, Cowboy Star, and McKenzie Chop House all completely CRUSH The Famous Steakhouse!!I wanted to love it...I thought we would love it...really really disappointed that we disliked it.
