I received a dozen gluten free / vegan vanilla cupcakes with chocolate icing as a gift from the cupcake doctor. I''m telling you I was so shocked after I took my first bite. These are the best gluten free cupcakes I have ever had. They run a little oily, however I don't mind for how moist, fluffy, and flavorful these were. I finished them all within a few days and still think about them today. This is some serious sorcery going on! The fondant toppers were not gluten free and so if you have an allergy I would skip the decorations. 11/10

I arrived early for pickup, and despite not even being open yet she welcomed us in and let us peek at her creations. My daughter is a preschool teacher, and these were for her class. We had some allergy babies, so made a small order of vegan cakes, and she made them special first to avoid cross contamination. Those babies had no issues. Not only did they love the cake, they loved the Bluey designs and our little allergy babies were so happy to be included. Also, they are veteran owned and offer a veteran/military discount which is will remember to use next time. Sorry we forgot to take photos but rest assured if you send them a picture it will be exactly what you want!

Had another bakery cancel my birthday cake order on short notice which led me to The Cupcake Doctor. Misfortune turned to good fortune! Cupcake Doctor had a superb selection of cupcake flavors and these were a big hit.We got a variety including the turtle sundae and Colorado chocolate. Everything was fantastic.The staff was friendly on the phone and was incredibly helpful in person.This is a military family-owned business and deserves our support. The fact their product is outstanding makes it perfect.

My daughter gives the macarons 1000/5 stars! I had a wonderful carrot cake cupcake with creme cheese icing. I called the shop and they said the cupcake truck is out in Wolf Ranch so we headed there! Def RECCOMEND!

It pains me a little to mark this place lower as the people we dealt with there were very friendly and nice. The problem with the experience was the cupcakes and the 6 inch cake we ordered weren't very great in terms of decoration. After I placed my order I had immediate anxiety and buyer's remorse but remained hopeful that they'd come through. Well, you can see the cake we ordered was pretty basic and the dinosaur they cut from fondant was quite rudimentary and no better than I could have done at home. We weren't asking for a fancy cake but hoped it would look a little more professional. We did also order 36 cupcakes as well which tasted fine but again the decorating was uninspired. A grocery store bakery would have been better at decorating and I was wishing I had gone that route instead for the money we spent. Luckily the audience were kids who didn't really care about the cakes. But their parents kept asking where we got them, but only so they could avoid going there, unfortunately. I will say after a few days the cake we ordered did hold up well and leftovers stayed tasty and moist. Stick with simple no-frills and no custom decorations and I think you will be good. It's good to support local businesses with kind people..

I would consider myself a cupcake snob. I'm very picky when it comes to cupcakes, as I am a baker myself. These cupcakes were fabulous. Super dense and moist.. what you want from a good cupcake.. frosting was on point. Prices were pretty reasonable and they have a military discount. I ordered them for my bday and they delivered them! They were on time and super friendly, opened the box to make sure I saw them before I took them. My only negative is that I wish the flavors were a little more intense for the special flavors. Pina colado could use more pineapple and coconut flavor and peach cobbler could use more peach flavor. Still delicious. I will be back.

Thanks for the cupcakes and truffles for our anniversary!I've had lovely cupcakes from The Cupcake Doctor in the past, so when my anniversary dessert plan fell through, I went to The Cupcake Doctor! Even though they were about to close, there was a nice selection of beautiful cupcakes. My husband had the Mexican Hot Chocolate cupcake. I forgot to mention the Mexican part and he hit the spicy part on the top ... oops. Umm ... keeping it spicy, sweetie. I had the Champagne and the frosting was very light and bubbly. The truffles were good. I think we had Amaretto and Irish Cream ... hmm ... might be suffering from CRS (Can't Remember Stuff). Hubby liked the Irish Cream and I liked mine, which might not have been Amaretto. Thanks for wishing us a happy anniversary! We had a quiet dinner at home with the cats.

This is hands-down the best cake and cupcake shop in the city. The owner goes to great lengths to make her customers happy and understand their visions for custom cakes (and she is very creative). I've had 2 birthday cakes, and countless cupcakes from this shop for my gaming group, friends group, and just 'cuz. I mean... check out these pictures! The cakes are consistently delicious, and never taste artificial; the high quality ingredients are apparent. She has stayed up into the early morning hours to fulfill orders and make sure they're perfect. No other shop goes to these lengths. This is always my first stop for any custom or group orders.

We came to Colorado for my sister's wedding! We were so excited to try these cupcakes, I understand we put in an order Tuesday for cupcakes to be picked up Friday morning. We wanted marble cupcakes with whipped icing, totally disgustingThe icing tasted like whipped chalk, however, the cake part was good.
