There's something undeniably summer about combining a leisurely lunch with a round of golf. And when you do it at The Club at Inverness, it's a Colorado experience you won't forget. Over the weekend we indulged in this exact day, starting with lunch at Breckenridge Brewery, Ale & Game House on the golf course, and finishing with 9 holes. The Palisade Peach Wheat was made with peaches from Palisade Colorado - it was a fruit-forward unfiltered American-style wheat ale bursting with bright and juicy peach flavor. The Juice Drop IPA had a distinct coconut-like characteristic. There were tropical hop layers without bitterness due to the experimental hop known as HBC 472.The Pub Burger was made with American cheese, shredded lettuce, pickle tomato, onion, house sauce, & a side of coleslaw. I went to a event there and it is set up to accommodate so many different types of events. It has been undergoing renovations for the last couple years and now I think they're going to be on stage 3 of the renovation. They upped dated the spa area, the restaurant, the outdoor patio, the pool area, the gardens and I believe the hotel lobby and hotel rooms. They have many different event venues. A couple of restaurants, a couple bars and a huge dining room. Breckenridge brewery is now in the downstairs area, if I have to write a review for that one, I'd just give them a 3 to 4. It is so loud! I know they're restocking and trying to get everything ready but they make mostly IPA's, I detest. I do you like a lighter beer. Both times I've ordered like appears they were out, so what does that tell you, maybe they need to brew some more beers that people would like?Well back to the location itself. The golf course is immaculate, the people that work there are great, instructors are informative. It would be a great place for an event, especially a wedding.I WOULD recommend this place especially if you want to go golf or even have a staycation.

The Club at Inverness is well maintained and the greens are fantastic. It's a challenging layout with long par 3's and just enough water think about. Don't play from the tips unless you have a solid game. The par 5's are 3 shot holes unless you hit two near perfect shots as the greens are well bunkered and elevated. We love the course.

I was here for the 'Hedge Funds Scare' Charity Golf Tournament. Oh wait, I meant 'Hedge Funds Care'. No really, they do.Great course overall. Challenging greens, well manicured, frequent water coolers along the way for fill-up, and for me it was all free (which probably influences my rating a bit). To be fair to my readers, I'm still a pretty crappy golfer, since this is my first year giving a real go of it. So if that detracts from the value you get out of this review, then stop being an elitist! The course backs up right against the Inverness Hotel & Spa, in the middle of Greenwood Village. I can't say much about the pro-shop, but it seemed well equipped. The carts they have were quiet gliding and had automatic parking brakes. Unfortunately, there was no GPS on the carts, and no cleat brush, or club/ball cleaning accessories. It did have a cooler filled with ice though. Also, a good selection of beer, booze, and food from the course cart attendees, and all more reasonably priced than I would have expected.First to review. My bid-ness is done here.

Golf course is rather expensive for a mediocre layout and maintained course. For this price you can play better or more challenging courses in the area.

The facility is nice. We stayed at the hotel with 4+ rooms. We golfed with 16 people. We ate at theBars in the hotel. We constantly received a very condescending attitude EVERYWHERE. From the club members to the staff. Very disappointed by the lack of respect. We don't know any other reason other then us not being member for this to occur.

Great course. I played here last week and i thought it was very well maintained. They told me that my ball was gonna go 10% farther in the high denver altitude but i didnt see it (shucks!). I will give this course 5 stars just because there were no bugs and nats flying around getting in my way (i hate that). I was disappointed however when the Lithuanian cart girl didn't know who Sarunus Jasikevicius was. She was really helpful though!

Seemed like it could've been a good course without all the leaves. Felt like they clear leaves less often than most in the fall though. However... the driving range was almost out of balls when we were there at 1 pm. Then we were hassled about pace of play twice by overzealous marshalls, despite being stuck behind two foursomes with small children, and still finishing the course in 4:25 after waiting for them on the first nine. This course is a prime example of golf snobbiness gone wrong, where the course and facilities are not nice enough to justify the attitudes of the staff. At the end of the day it really bothers me that two different marshalls, neither of whom referenced a tee time schedule, decided to hassle a medium-fast twosome stuck behind two foursomes about pace of play. Zero stars for professionalism, three stars for the course. For the record, slow pace of play bothers me a lot, but if there are groups in front of me teaching young children I won't complain. To get asked twice to pick up the pace as we stood around waiting for the group in front of us on the same hole was an unacceptable lack of decorum and awareness by the staff. In both instances there was nobody directly behind us either. Zero chance I ever play here again, would advise others to patronize better courses around such as bear dance, arrowhead, and perry park.

Unexpected, pleasant surprise among a plethora of hotels in the area. Just lovely - wouldn't stay anywhere else in future. Beautiful setting, decent breakfast, comfortable rooms and very close to shopping mall.

I really liked the course. It was in great shape although they are doing some work on several holes. Condition was very good and the greens rolled true.
