The Buena Viking

Server was very chill and funny! Atmosphere was awesome. Berserker was gas. Do it for the glory.

Officially my favorite spot in BV! My partner and I stopped at Buena Viking for lunch on our drive back to Denver. Looking at the menu a week prior had me craving burgers until we got seated at the bar. I ordered the special Steak Frites Burger with bacon and a side of tots.It was fun talking to the locals around us and learning more about BV. The burger itself was phenomenal, with Muenster cheese, shoestring French fries, and aioli. I would go out of my way to come here again. Oh and I bought a beanie on my way out. Love this place!!

We stopped for a delicious lunch at The Buena Viking! All of their burgers sounded delicious, so we had a hard time choosing what to order. We ended up ordering the Boone Burger and the Crisp Mountain Air burger, and they were awesome! Very tasty and super filling. It looks like a great local spot too, so if you live in the Buena Vista area, we highly recommend checking it out and joining their mug club!

After whitewater rafting, my friend and I were both starving. This place was on the list of food possibilities suggested by the rafting company. Business was booming so we sat outside. We did not want to wait for a table. The vibe is kinda hipster. The building appeared clean. Our server was nice and offered suggestions. The food was served in a reasonable timeframe. My friend's burger looked phenomenal! Instant regret that I ordered the fish sandwich lol. The fish sandwich was fine, but it is basically a burger stop where I ordered fish. I would just order a burger next time. If you are in the area, this is a great spot to eat. There is an ice cream shop next door with to die for ice cream too!

Second time dining here in BV, today I brought the fam. There are a variety of burgers to choose from and they are all pretty unique. There was a generous amount of cheese on the ones we got which is a plus! All the different types of tots and fries were flavorful and they have plenty of options to choose from. Overall the food quality seemed pretty good. It was very busy during dinner, but the food came out in a reasonable time. Waitress was friendly.

Great new location in downtown BV. Place was packed! Great burgers, salads and beers.Good service - a great experience for sure

I visited this restaurant for the first time today. The location was convenient right on Main Street in Buena Vista, there was adequate free parking nearby, the restaurant was nicely decorated outside, and inside has the feel of a sports bar with a big screen TV with sports playing, I was not greeted upon entering finally got someone's attention and was seated, the dining room was clean (there is also outdoor seating), the menu had enough items but included too much fancy, cutesy wording IMHO, I got the Viking Burger, it was served hot with my sweet potato fries and it was real tasty, my server was a nice, low-key 20-something young lady who was adequately responsive, music was playing, they had guest WiFi for which I got the password from an employee and it worked fine, and my bill came to $22.

Loved this place! We sat outside with our dog and the service was great. We had multiple people checking in on us the whole time but not in an annoying way, they just seemed like they worked really well as a team which is cool to see! The food was delicious, I love fried green beans and don't see them often on menus so we had to get them. I got the BLT with avocado and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was great and crisp, the ingredients tasted fresh, I loved it! My husband and brother loved their food as well. The place itself was clean, nice and had a great vibe. The sand which was honestly so filling I'm glad I didn't order a side, but would love to try some loaded tots next time I'm in town!

Oh Buena Viking!!!! You bring out the Norseman in me!!!Why would any Viking go anywhere else to indulge in the festival of burgers you offer!!Even when you were a food truck, we ravished in the burger awesomeness!!The food, the service is always top notch!!"Maten din er Fantastisk"!

The burgers were amazing, recommend the berserker burger to anyone passing through with a big appetite. Tots and sauces were great. Staff was amazing and fun. Come for the glory.
