The Blackbox Cafe

This was the first time to visit; close to Mineral Palace Park and Parkview Hospital. I had an appointment at the hospital, so thought I'd give it a try.The outdoor patio was nice and I like eating outdoors in good weather. What I didn't expect, you must go inside and order at the counter. Okay, not anything I couldn't do. Nice guy behind the counter.Ordered the "apple, chicken, walnut" salad. Arrived in no time; good portion.Now I just had the "apple Pecan" salad at Wendy's a few days ago and their's was better and $5 less expensive. The reason I gave this place a three; no bar, self order and the salad, although good, had "too" many walnuts and raisins. The dressing was good, but need more chicken and greens and fewer walnuts and raisins! Probably won't go again.

A very good, though limited menu of breakfast sandwiches. The coffees and teas are good. I had a heavy cream latte which was rich and tasty, and not as bitter as a Starbucks. Service was friendly, and the order taker was always listening, and seeking to give more than one needed, but not pushy. It has a contemporary ambience of a big city, coffee, house, with tables, inside and out. With its smallish but comfortable ambience, it was not too noisy to have a low voice conversation and hear one another. All in all, I recommended well

I gave this place a high rating in the past. Alas, this time it doesn't earn that. It took nearly 50 minutes to get our order of avocado toast and sausage breakfast sandwiches. Sad because while the quality of the food was still there, losing/forgetting an order and delivering it 30 minutes beyond a normal window is just not acceptable.

Tucked in a residential center, this third place coffee shop is definitely worth the stop. Nice change of pace from the commercialized shops like Starbucks. Very modern chic decor and upbeat vibe with a few tables inside and an outside patio as well. They have a small breakfast and lunch menu, pastry window, and the usual coffee/latte favorites. I ordered a breve hot latte, a gluten free chewy chocolate and walnut bar, and the BLT toast. The latte was smooth and delicious as a breve should be. The chocolate bar was heavenly. One of the best gluten free treats I have had. The BLT toast was also good and the bacon had a wonderful flavor. This place is definitely worth a try if you are local and a definite stop when I am in town. Highly recommend and so happy to see a family owned business with quality food options and delicious drinks.

I love this place. We're new to Pueblo and my husband was in Parkview hospital. Every time I came in they were so friendly and propped me up. The food is really good. I love the Chicky sandwich & the blue cheese salad. Iced coffee is better than anything else I've had.

Excellent pastries and stylish place Quiet neighborhood and pleasant place to work.

I was in town on business and was looking for a quick bite. Vibes are immaculate. Just the kind of low energy and cozy you would want early in the morning. Service was very nice. They accommodated non-dairy request for my drink. My piece of toast was just crusty enough and just soft enough for a perfect loaded toast. I couldn't say anything better about this place. It was exactly what I was looking for and I highly recommend.

We had 5 people in our group and only one of them got their coffee right.The coffee was subpar and the service was bad and slow.The place was cool but you can tell the workers don't want to be there.

Food is excellent! Service is top notch. It is an adorable space, although I only have gotten take out.

Great lunch spot. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Easy location with quick access from the highway. Absolute gem!
