I recently met the owner of this business during another business transaction. While we were discussing business, other things came up like what her business is and what she does. Ironically, she's a 4th generation Honey producer. Why is it ironic? I was out! My mom gave me some honey and I couldn't get it soft! I even soaked it in hot water and attempted cooking it. The owner is such a wonderful lady. My shipment came so fast too! Packaged well and so delicious. I the card I received too. Such a personalized touch. I'm having the Honey Clover today with my tea! Alright, this is about to be my go-to spot every Salida visit I have!I've never experienced so many different kinds of honey and to top it, I had the opportunity to taste test them! I felt like I was at a wine tasting, but for honey!I ended up buying some raw, unfiltered honey to help with my allergies being that it's derived from local Colorado bees and let me tell you, it's so delicious, you can taste the richness and care that went into it!Plus, the prices are excellent. I'll definitely be back!

My first time here was pre-covid when we stayed at the Mt Princeton Hot Springs and decided to stop by the town to walk around. Really love the quaint town of Salida and all it's offerings - historic buildings, cute boutiques, great vibe and food/drinks. Most people would recommend to head over to F St for most of the boutiques and shops... this Honey Boutique is across from the Safeway parking lot in town on G St, so don't forget to swing this way for some treasure hunting. Kelsey (sorry if it's not spelled correctly) gave us the rundown of boutique history and a little Q&A session as I brought family from Christchurch, NZ for a visit. Come to find out the shop owner, unfortunately we didn't get a chance to meet, used to study in NZ for beekeeping. This boutique, though the same size as the last visit over 5 years ago, has greatly expanded their offering on anything bee related. I remember there were mostly variations of honey and some honey by product like wax or lotion... now has more salves, decorations, jewelry from local artists...etc. I'm still here for the honey, but come check them out for souvenirs and gifts to bring back for the family. If you're local to Colorado, get some bee pollen to help with your allergies in addition to the honey!

This place is a little gem. Found it looking at the Salida visitor map and immediately wanted to stop by. We were staying at Cutty's for the weekend and came into town for the day to check out the shops and have lunch. I got some creamed honey (chai spice, peanut butter and jalapeño) while we were there that was delicious. They have wax food wraps, lotions, jewelry, salt, and a host of honey products. I definitely plan to stop back in next time we're in town.

This place is super cute!! Very nice and clean and all of the products were really high quality. In my opinion, everything was really reasonably priced for what it was. The woman helping us wrapped the honey butter I bought in an insulated bag with a frozen package for no extra charge so that it didn't melt! We also got lavender honey and clover honey which were both lovely :)

I love the Honey Boutique. It's always on my agenda when I visit my daughter in Salida, Colorado from Wisconsin. The Mother's Day and Christmas gifts she sends me from there always arrive so beautifully packaged; a lovely presentation. My favorite franrance is the Oatmeal lotion - I put it on my neck and hands before bed and I sleep so well. But I actually love all the scents, scrubs, real honey and others items in the store too .

My family and I shared a relaxing weekend in Salida and I wanted a Mother's Day gift that reflected our time together. I bought my mom a honey gift set that she adores. It was beautifully shipped and arrived quickly. My mom uses it for everything! A great way to celebrate a Mother's Day spent apart due to COVID-19.
