Menu has a lot of options and everything we had was great. Claudia burger and chips were great and the Reuben with Brussels sprouts was delicious too. Servings were large, service was good and the old building it's in is cool as well.

I'd like to start this review off by saying we have waited an hour and a half for our food... They were out of about a third of their menu. To be completely fair to them, they did let us know that food would take slightly longer than normal. The town is very busy at the time of this review and I think it's worth mentioning that one of the contributing factors to their kitchen taking much longer than usual.Was somewhat averaged... Pretty good but not worth an hour and a half wait.Overall, not bad considering how busy the town was due to a race. However, the food was nothing terribly special.

Very tasty food with some great choices on the menu yet can use some work to improve execution. Staff was a bit standoff-ish, not welcoming and friendly for a mountain tourist town. Service was very slow despite not seeming overly busy. Many items seemed to be out of stock - for example to pretzels to serve with the beer cheese soup, two different desserts unavailable, lacking a salad dressing for one of the salads ordered by our table. When food came out, most of it was tasty yet could have been more hot, almost like it sat in the kitchen awaiting delivery. The outdoor patio has a nice and pleasant vibe on a sunny day and also welcomes dogs.

Have eaten here before, completely different experience this time. One waitress to bus, bartend, take orders and bring the food and drinks. We felt really bad for her but after she disappeared for 10 minutes (making herself a tea in the back room) while more people filtered in and 90% of the tables didn't even water...I tried to order several different options on the menu and they 'were out'. She also stated that their beer menu was 'way out of date' and to just look in the cooler for what they had. We decided to get soup and salads (two of the soups they didn't have)...we were there for an hour. Had one drink, an hour...no waitress to be found and two high AF 'cooks' who weren't doing much cooking...needless to say, we left. We felt bad for the waitress but overall...so, so bad. Owner should work the health care industry.

Tennessee Pass has a large menu of items to choose from. There are decent drink and beer options as well. The service is pretty slow so don't go if you're in a rush. The patio area is nice and big to enjoy a beautiful day in the mountains. Also slightly down from the main hustle of Leadville so it's a bit more peaceful.

The chili was amazing!! The service was fast and friendly. Great small town spot. 5 stars

My family and I stopped in here after the train ride (a party of 5) and they didn't even seat us. They finally sent us to the patio to be seated where I ended up just grabbing a table because once again, no one seated us. As we sat there a couple stood up and walked out. We waited and waited as waitresses walked by us completely ignoring us. After about 10 minutes, we too walked out. Absolutely the worst service (or lack there of)!!!

We really enjoyed stopping in for lunch. They have a really good menu and both our meals were good. The only thing I don't recommend is their horseradish sauce. I'm not certain there was an horseradish in it. The buffalo teriyaki sandwich had good flavor, tender meat and was easy to eat. My wife had the tomato soup with grilled cheese and, while not the best she's ever had, it was still good. Prices are reasonable. The menu states up front they prefer cash but they will take credit cards.

This place has been reliable, year after year. The service was good, menu was good, food was delicious!

TLDR, Do not come here with kids. Last night we waited for two hours for dinner and by the time we left at 9 pm even our 16 year old was asleep at the table.The one server working the entire room was completely underwater. It took 1 hour to receive waters for our table. Our second table of family received one water to share amongst four people. At one point there was a screaming fight in the kitchen. The food is fine. The cafe ran out if mutiple items that were listed on the menu. The servers seemed nice enough but our overall experience here was bad.
