I was in town with my wife on work and decided to check this place out!Good quality products and not bad prices. Way better than Pueblo or manitou. Will travel to return.

Our 1st experience was a good one.*** However...It's amazing how just 1 employee with a sour attitude can turn your 2nd visit from day... into night.My Mom walked in. She made an honest mistake and forgot about the id showing part, only our 2nd time at a dispensary ever.This is feedback on exactly how this woman and some of the customer service at this dispensary is choosing to deal with new people who are not used to how a dispensary works:Her first chosen and intentional response for dealing with newer customers: "What do you think your doing??" "You can't just go *waltzing* in there."For anyone who is looking for a dispensary that actually cares about the Quality of their customer service, of exactly How they talk to customers coming in to spend $,You may need to look elsewhere...or just avoid going in there on Thursday mornings when the rude woman with the dark hair and glasses works.Thursday, 7/22/21, at 10:30 AM.What business in 2021 does not care about providing atleast basic, Average quality customer service to customers coming in to spend $, no matter how new they are to the process ... ?

Staff was so helpful, nice and patient! Recommended great items in store as well as places to do/things to see in town. Will definitely be back next time im in town!

This is my go to place for any THC needs. Super ethical, professional, clean and they know their stuff. If I ever have any questions I know they can educate me and are never trying to upsell me on anything. Great location, nice building, perfect parking and the environment inside is comfortable while maintaining confidence. I appreciate all of the above. It's nice that they don't just assume you know everything when you walk in. They are ready to consult immediately. Cash only, but ATM is inside.

I really like this place. It's nice, clean and inviting inside. They've got a good selection of good bud, and a nice variety of other products. The budtenders are amongst the friendliest I've encountered, and super knowledgeable too. It seems that they're doing everything right.

THC in Salida has a wonderful selection of product and is the only ethical cannabis seller in our town. We use recreational pot for pain and anti-seizure medicine and have never been disappointed. The owner is honest and caring and helpful to customers and the community they serve. The shop is comfortable and friendly. The bud tenders are pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable and they are quick even when our tourist town is jam packed. This is the perfect place for tourists concerned with excellence as well as ethics. We're old school and mostly use their bud which is always excellent and tasty. I am partial to Afghani/kush and they always have something strong and tasty for me. They sell 1 gram bud joints for less than $5 ($4.20), and we have enjoyed wax and shatter occasionally as well. Everything we have had has been excellent. Sampson Q is not accurate with his negative review and likely was not there. You will never be mistreated as a guest here, nor will you get moldy pot as you will at 3d that is grown at the expense of our town's health. THC assures that their pot is safe and ethically grown and will never sell any product that is grown or produced by harming our community that is limited to 3 shops and 3 grows. All of the other shops and grows here have been monopolized by Adopluphus Busch V and Pure Greens at the cost of our quality of life and our environment due to the horrible impact the giant complex in the Smeltertown superfund grow complex that all Salida grown pot now comes from. The Pure Greens group of companies exploiting this area are unconcerned with the huge carbon footprint they have brought with them, or the harm they have done to our community with their sneaking and license manipulation our town was unprepared to prevent, taking full advantage of the moratorium on locals to grow and monopolizing the licenses here. THC is very careful never to use any product that touches the hands of these imported exploiters. For me this is important and it should be for you. THC is the only shop in Salida that you should visit for quality and ethics.

This is a great place to pick up your recreational needs! Christina is one of the best bud tenders I have ever worked with when purchasing flower. She is very knowledgeable and always has a great attitude. highly recommend

Staff was extremely rude. Employees not wearing masks. Go elsewhere, plenty of better dispensaries.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Normally i am very pleased with this place always had great experiences. Until today. I asked to look at wax befor buying the lady i saw I believe her name is colleen (refused to give me her name) told me she doesn't have time for that. I said we usually get to see the product befor buying. She told me theres no way that's going to happen. Mind you they had 1 other customer in the store and no time for that. As we told her we would take our business elsewhere (very politely) she started raising her voice saying we are our brothers keeper and what do we think she is going to rip us off. Very disappointed in the unprofessional acts of this woman and I will either ask to speak to someone else or never give them my time again.

I have never written on Yelp before but I felt I needed to share my experience. I am a daily smoker and was born n raised in this mountain town. I went in to reup my stash and was disrespected more than I have ever been from a retail employee. They talked down to me and wouldn't even let me see the product before buying it. I've never have had a bud tender refuse me but this one did. If you are not from here, there are plenty of places to go to buy what ya need. I dont recommend supporting them. 3d and nature's medicine are more than willing to make you feel welcome and help you any way they can. THC... ZERO stars if i could.
