Fried fish and fried potato strips. I think they forgot to fry the lemon wedge and the tartar sauce.

When you up on the mountain, there are few eating choices. Ten Mile station is a prime example, when there is no competition and nothing else around. Expensive and poor tasting food are the takeaways. A burger is about $18. French fries = $9 Burger was cold. Fries were soggy and cold - cooked sometime before and left sitting out. Beer is about $8. There is free water however. Everything is self serve. Big sturdy tables.

My friend had his wedding reception here and I'm going with 4 stars for the ambiance, location, view, and service. The cabin-esque building screams "Colorado" and it's middle-of-nowhere location makes for a great 360 degree view of the scenery and is ideal for wedding photos. The service was on the money, but the bartenders had quite an edge on the wait staff. I never had a problem getting a drink, but it seemed like half the 120+ guests were done eating before our table even got served. Speaking of the food, it wasn't that great, though I recognize that may have had more to do with the selections of the bride and groom rather than the chef, or perhaps whatever catering company may have been contracted.Hydrate before you head up here if you're not used to altitude. The grandmother of the groom passed out.

This place gave me a simple lesson of economics. Monopolies are not good for the consumer. This is the only place to it on top of the Quicksilver lift. So, they have the monopoly on the restaurant here unless you ski down a little bit. Then, with the weather being so cold, this place was our only refuge from the cold. As when we were trying to warm up, we went ahead and eat here to save on time. Each dish will cost you on average of $13. The serving is just about right. Quality though is much to be desired for the cost, but it is still way better than your typical fast food place. So, we ate here on 2 separate days for lunch because we do not have much choice unless we want to go down. Going down was not an option since there were a lot of people on the Quicksilver lift. It was just not worth the wait. The first day was on a Friday, so I had no choice but to get their fish. It was lent, and I was trying to be a good boy. I was reluctant at first, but it turned out alright, at least better than Long John Silver except twice as much. I believe the fish was cod. It was cooked just right. The texture was not mushy which was very surprising. The batter was not thick, and it was dredge in panko so it was crunchy. It was seasoned well, but eating it with tartar sauce enhanced it tremendously. It came with fries in which I have no complain. So, it was neither good nor bad, but the price was just too much. For $13, this fish dish was just too darn expensive. I expected more higher quality for the price, but I suppose I paid for the convenience of them having to transport the fish up in the mountain and fry it up there. On the second day though, we wised up and ordered the cheapest one. We got the fries with pulled pork. So, it is their version of the poutine in which a plateful of fries is topped off with a healthy serving of pulled pork then drenched with some tomatillo based sauce. It was delicious and very hearty. The tomatillo sauce was definitely something to try. It worked well with the fries. The pulled pork was nothing special. It is just there so that there is some sort of meat with the meal. It was good enough, but still pricey for what you get.Overall, we really did not have any choice. Unless we went to the city, there was not much choice of restaurant in this area. So, suck it up and just endure the mediocre food for a bit, Or wise up just like this brilliant man that we saw. He brought his own cup of ramen and heat it up on their microwave. At least, the place provides free water and microwave.

Service here is awful. I will never visit Ten Mile station, and I'm seriously considering avoiding Breck in future. I've been a season pass holder for 10 years and have never been treated poorly at any Vail property. Apparently, there is someone on staff here who thinks he can confiscate ppl's personal property. He learned today that's not the case.

Thirteen dollars for a slice of pizza. Stale fries. Six bucks for that privilege. Best deck in Colorado. Really miss the days of independent restaurants on the mountain Bring a picnic and enjoy the deck. Avoid the food.

3 lines and $17 later for chicken tenders. Good one Vail Resorts, I appreciate paying for the lowest quality food at premium price. I also appreciate not being served by 5 different people. Being directed around to 3 different stations for a SIDE OF RANCH was lazy and excessive. Side note - my boyfriend enjoyed his apple which earned them a solid one star.

Hands down the worst run restaurant on any mountain I have skied. Who ever thought it was ok to potentially make people have to stand in 5 lines just to get out of the grill area with a lunch is a complete moron. Why hasn't this been fixed? I do not know. You order a burger and want fries you have to stand in another line. Want some soup to warm those chilled bones, fall into another line of annoyed customers. The "South of the Border" is just a joke looks like slop from a prison kitchen. Wait now your kid changed his/her mind and wants a slice of 13-15 dollar slice of pizza so back into another line. All this time wasted, now your soup, burger and fries are cold. I guess it would be too much for the line cooks to just call out order for a soup and fries to go with a burger or your dog. This restaurant at best is run like the DMV. The concept of a line for just fries, chicken fingers and/or fried fish is idiotic. However, for the cook not to look up and see 15 people standing in his line and have the forethought to make extra fries, because every dish has fries, I'm at a lost for words. Solution, hire me to come in a redesign the flow of the Service line and train the staff. I have zero experience in this kitchen flow design but I understand supply and demand, crowd control and common sense.

I love ten mile station! It's not as crowded as at the bases, nice outdoor seating, and the bar staff is pretty friendly!Food is obviously overpriced - but hey - it's food in the middle of a mountain. But the big bonus is the bloody mary's have bacon wrapped scallops in them! MMMM!Best option is to ski around to the back or the middle and start that bathroom treck there! It's down!

Cold undercooked potato. Had to beg for a second microscoop of sour cream. Server forgot the scallions, then gave a sparse sprinkle. Wendy's would be an upgrade!
