Tava Food Truck

Loved the location, loved the food, loved the vibe. Loved it all! Starting with the location: It was a beautiful sunny day in a tucked away spot in Manitou when we came to Tava. I have to say, as a food truck, I know you roam, but it's picturesque for you when you're in manitou. But really Tava could be anywhere and I'd come. Food: The food was fresh and cooked to order. Comes with the territory I would assume when you order from a food truck? Admittedly I don't do it often, but apparently I need to. We received the fearless goddess sandwich, a peach smoothie, a berry smoothie and their soup special the tomato bisque. Oh! The fearless goddess came with a side as well so we got the sweet potato fries. The sandwich had fresh jalapeños on it and it added the perfect kick of spice needed to break up how decadent the sandwich was. The sweet potato fries were crispy and the aioli was a great addition to dip them in. The smoothies were refreshing and tasted of real fruit. Don't at me, I've had many a smoothie that tasted artificial. The soup was perfect for my daughter, she loves soup of all sorts. It was warm and cozy. We eat soup all year long in my house hold so I was happy. We enjoyed the seating area outside that had misters going to help cool things down as well. It was a very chill place to watch dogs play across the street at the park, catch some sun and enjoy some great food. This is a solid spot for either lunch or dinner honestly. Your choice.

After biking by the Tava Truck many times and not having opportunity to stop, I finally went there for a late lunch.Service - super friendly, with a smile! The Fearless Goddess sandwich - so this event was advertised as being on the healthier side... this sandwich is more on the killer-delicious side. Crisp fresh toasted bread, just the right amount of cheese (plenty but not swimming in cheese grease), tender chicken and tasty sauce...mmm, good. It's huge (for me, anyway), so I enjoyed half and saved the other half for lunch the next day, which was just right.The berry smoothie - another win! It's not cloyingly sweet, and the yogurt and berries had plenty of tang. Creamy yum. I also saved half for the next day, in the freezer, and it thawed just fine.The soup - sandwiches come with a side, so I chose the tomato basil bisque. It was more creamy than veg-tomatoey, and needed a hit of pepper. Not my favorite ever, but my daughter inhaled it. It's enough for a lunch on its own, or in two portions as a side.Overall - pretty good stuff and I will probably head back to try more of the offerings here. It's a solid choice in Manitou!

An artistic looking food truck located beside SunWater Spa. Spouse got the Red Eye burger and I got the sweet potato fries. My fries were a great serving and I don't know what my dipping sauce was but it was fantastic!! I usually get a sweet sauce (marshmallow, syrup stuff) and this was a green creamy sauce you could put in burgers, tacos, whatever and it went amazing with my fries! I wanted to buy a whole squeeze bottle of it. The burger was great with tons of different flavors that complimented each other. We did overhear about 3 different people talk about how they have the best BLTs so, next time! You will be served by two big burly friendly guys...that make wonderful food with a big smile. I do recommend getting there with plenty of time to spare if you have somewhere you need to be or just be prepared to have a nice leisurely lunch with your friend, pup or by yourself. Their food is made to order and can take a little bit of time especially if they get a rush.

I was visiting Sunwater Spa for my first time and this truck is parked right there with a wonderful eating space outside. I had a delicious BLT sandwich that I absolutely loved. It came with a side and I chose fries which were hot and crispy and plentiful. I was in a hurry and wish I had gotten the soup instead because it's homemade and it sounds like it would be very yummy- next time! I also got some beignets which were a real treat. The man working was warm and friendly. I'd like to visit again and bring my husband because they have a great menu and it's in a pretty location.

Hidden gem! After an amazing soak at Sunwater Spa in Manitou, we were blessed with truly yummy offerings from Tava Truck just outside, along the side of the spa. Garlic Smash Burger; swiss & mushrooms, micros, perfectly sized slivers of jalapeño, garlic oil, ciabatta was perfect texture, not hard at all. I was so satisfied, massive savoriness and juiciness, not a bite left. The southwest fries were seasoned perfectly, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. You don't have to soak to eat here! There is plenty of seating w/ tables near the truck and a beautiful park to lounge at as well. Go see Shamus, who was incredibly friendly and attentive! We will be back expeditiously for beignets!

Incredible menu options, which do change sometimes. Love the breakfast burrito and today had an incredible pancake breakfast sandwich. Also located right next to best spa in the world, SunWater!

This food truck is a must!! I had the grilled cheese with sweet potato fries, and I was blown away!! It was so delicious. The staff was so friendly!! Amazing food!!

Amazing food and great service. We are visiting from out of state but my daughter said that when she comes back to Colorado she wants to come here. We tried several of the items and they were all delicious. Come here if you're in the area!

My wife and I are on our honeymoon and decided to go to the spa to relax, when we were done I walked down to the car and noticed the tava truck. I got my wife a latte and some Beignets,,,, first of all I've been cooking for a long time and the food here is great! The latte was perfect and the owner (a very hard working chef) was one of the nicest people to talk with. Overall an awesome experience. THANK YOU!!

The gentleman working was a gem, the breakfast burrito was made with such love, and when you get the homemade salsa, get 2. Best treat in town.
