Okay, well the service was slow and the food marginal. We were there for "brunch". The only egg dishes on the menu were a quiche and an omelet. So...I ordered the "quiche" with bacon and potatoes. Yeah, I got a very small quiche with a side of bacon and side of potatoes. The quiche was served in a pastry shell...very sweet. The potatoes were not cooked completely however the bacon was good.My wife's omelet looked good. Not all dried out but perfectly done.We ordered the apple crisp for desert and a coffee. I have had much better coffee at a Village Inn. The coffee was light brown and tasteless. The apple crisp was luke warm and overly sweet. The play was amazing, but I would stay away from the food.

I do love this restaurant. I guess that the fact that it is run by the Garden Of The Gods Gourmet would explain a lot. :)This restaurant is definitely a beautiful place where to have a nice meal, in a wonderful restaurant. I love the art deco detailing on the ceiling and light fixtures and the very simple modernist murals above the doors. In the warmer months all the patio doors are open and offer a wonderful indoor-outdoors feel, with the nice breeze and an astonishingly breathtaking view of our mountain range. Absolutely a gem. I will try to come here more often, as it is just such a peaceful and beautiful place.

Dining room is decorated in an Art Deco style. Views of the mountains from practically ever table (especially those by the huge windows) is stunning. Disappointed in two out of the three meals. One sister had a salad with additional shrimp which were practically raw, tough, undercooked and not fresh (I tried one to verify her suspicion). I had the street tacos, two beef and one pork. The beef tacos were tough, greasy and chewy. The pork taco was also greasy plus so salty it was inedible. None of the ingredients seemed "fresh". My other sister had the burger entry and said it was pretty good. Very disappointed in meal overall especially since the Taste has received good reviews. Doubt if I will go back.

My husband and I had a delightful evening experience at Taste. The service was friendly, prompt and professional. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. My husband started with the Barbie Bisque and I had the Consolidated Salad. We then both had the Aspen Ridge Brisket with Gorgonzola Potatoes. To top off the already superbly fine dining experience, the Brûlée Au Violet with Candied Orange Peel was the hit of the night. We have had many A Brûlée throughout our European travels, but that was the best we have had, only if you a fondness of fresh blackberries. The ambience of the beautiful chandeliers and elegant decor, the serenity of peaceful surroundings, and of course, the wondrous beauty of the Colorado ridge line beyond the outdoor balcony is well worth the visit. We almost didn't want to leave for our reserved seating at a fabulous showing at a "not-to-miss" musical of "9 to 5" that kept us laughing the rest of the evening.

Love this place! We went on a Monday for the O'Keefe exhbit so a leisurely late lunch was on our mind. We liked the looks of the place and we were not disappointed. We sat outside, enjoying the beautiful view. Creative, darling little cactus plant arrangement on every table! Outstanding service -- thank you, Greg! Our appetizer was the hummus dish (olives, hummus, tadziki, red peppers, pita). It was excellent. It's so nice to taste hummus that isn't loaded with salt and oil. Spouse had the salmon salad which he said was excellent -- not salty or greasy. I had the vegan salad option (tasty veggie burger on a salad with red pepper dressing -- a dressing for the burger on the side). I'm always happy to be able to eat something tasty that isn't drenched in animal fat. It was a bit pricey, but I expect that in a fine museum. We had such a nice meal that we will definitely try their main restaurant in downtown Co Springs.

A hidden gem!The patio at Taste looking over the park with the view of Pikes Peak is one of the coolest places I have ever lunched in.Full bar and impressive wine list too. Very quiet and very classy. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town.

We usually always go to the GOG club for Mother's Day but this year we decided to try something new and check out Taste. Unfortunately our food had no taste and the experience left a bad enough taste in our mouths that we won't be back.Taste certainly didn't have their A game staff on the schedule for Mother's Day yesterday. Not only did the food take forever (45 minutes +), it was cold, and they couldn't even get our order correct. The disorganization was apparent when we had 2 servers at separate times come over and tell us the specials. My Mother in Law ordered an appetizer of fries and salad and soup as her meal. She specifically asked they bring everything all together. Even with that request they still brought her the fries first. My husband ordered a burger... a vey complicated order (sarcasm). He ordered it with cheese and no other toppings. It arrived cold and with no cheese or condiments. I ordered one of the specials... eggs benedict. It was cold when I got it, bland, mushy, really no flavor. We ordered a kids meal for our 13 month old. Chicken tenders and fruit. She was asleep in her carrier when we arrived so I requested the food come out in a "to go" container in case she kept sleeping. Not only was no "to go" container brought to us, her food was about 1000 degrees, and hard as a rock when it arrived. Additionally, they brought out an adult sized portion with fries. At that point I was just so aggravated. We were hungry. Our baby was hungry. I flagged down a server and inquired about the fruit that was supposed to come with the "kids" meal. She ran out back and obviously just grabbed a bunch of stuff from the fridge and we got some ice cold, hard strawberries. We wound up feeding our kid fries since it was the only think she could eat.The only thing that was good about this meal was the wine. I am sorry my husband wasted our hard earned money on this crap meal.
