This place is great although tricky to get to your first time. Turn east on mineral and take an immediate right on the dirt road. There were really nice horses and farm animals. We had my daughters birthday party here. The girls had a wonderful time. There's a gazebo to have lunch and cake afterwards with a cute playground. The yard was a little messy but we got there early and picked things up a bit. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. It was a party the girls will never forget! Thanks Coventry Farms.

Is this place for real? Barns in denver are the biggest rip off ever Lease a horse for 3 x the going rate locally and then require the person to take 8 lessons a month to the tune of $600 a month lol and then on top of it!!!! Charge the "client" for all the fees of owning a horse like shoeing. I have news for your idiots. The point of leasing is to avoid those costs of ownership not pass them off to the leaser. Secondly, I don't want your god damn lessons. What if you have a person who knows how to ride and has 30 years of experience? You are going to require them to take 8 lessons a month? Lol I will never step foot in this place

We love Tall Horse Riding Club! Elizabeth is the best!! She has been a wonderful trainer for my daughter. She is extremely knowledgeable, very welcoming and easy-going, and challenges her to push herself and learn more every time she rides. My daughter has grown so much in just one year with Elizabeth and absolutely loves riding with her.

I would give them 100 stars!!After having a disappointing experience at another stable, we tried again and found Elizabeth and Cody - they are so awesome!!! What a totally different and excellent experience. The place is very easy to get to off 470 and most of the large property is nice to drive through (a couple of old barns falling over in the corner of a paddock or two but all in all, very nice, horse farm ambiance). The stables are bright and well appointed. My seven year old, horse-crazy girl took an introduction lesson with Elizabeth. It was supposed to be an hour but ran way over. Nice. And my daughter did everything she could reach including leading the horse, hoof care, saddling, bridling, you name it. A very good lesson in barn etiquette, horse care AND riding - exactly what I was looking for.As for the riding part of the lesson - it was in the indoor riding barn that is big, well-lit and heated in the winter. I like a facility that offers true, year-round riding. The other girls there for lessons we chatted with before and after my daughter's lesson had been riding there for months and many were gearing up for competition. They all talked about how much better the group was at Tall Horse. Nice girls. Every one of them. All cheering each other on in true sportsmanship style. The barn had a general feel and chatter of the riders helping each other, smiling and all laughing together. Location bonus: there is a reservoir next to the farm (Tall Horse rents a barn from Coventry Farms) that the girls all talked about was the most fun way to walk a horse to cool him down.As for the horses, there are quite a few available for lease or for a single lesson and they all know their job very well. A few are also horses in service of the equine therapy program at Tall Horse. I felt very safe tossing my seven year old up on a big thoroughbred for laps around the arena. We live close to downtown but this place is well worth the drive.

My family has been a part of Coventry farm and Tall horse for over 2 years now. My daughter started with Tall hose at another barn 5 years ago and is now competing safely at 2'9 Jumping and is involved in their IEA program. Elizabeth is a keeper! We live near DU and the commute is typically a breeze up to 4 times a week! The horses are well cared for and they love their jobs. They take care of their riders!

Super-duper barn and professional, experienced barn owners and trainers. An extra plus for hosting The Right Step Therapeutic riding program and providing an authentic riding experience for its students. If you want to advance as a rider and move forward in competition, this is the place to be. The horses are calm and content, as is the atmosphere. Tall Horse Riding Club is new to the scene, but these are trainers to watch. If I were a kid again, this is the place I'd want to be. I'm just happy my daughter is able to have this amazing experience.

This place is the real deal. These are real horse people with exceptional teaching skills and wonderful lesson horses. Everyone at Tall Horse and Coventry Farms is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Their horses are well schooled with no sour behavior at all and quite honestly you would never know theses horses are a part of a school program. If you are looking to truly learn how to ride this is the place. A+++ all around.
