I have to admit, we were so excited to try our food I forgot to take pictures. We went here on a whim, an unexpected night of being child free. It was cold outside, so we thought, let's take food home and watch a movie. This place popped up close by thanks to Yelp and we figured, why not! I'm so happy we did!We arrived and were met with a smiling face as a welcome. The cashier was so friendly and helpful. We ordered our food and drinks and sat and waited. I got a Jamaica to sip on and my husband the horchata. Both were so delicious and refreshing. We ordered a lingua taco to try (my husband highly recommends), the carne asada plate (so good!), and my husband got some combo plate. I forget what it was, but he was so happy with it. All in all, I would say don't skip over this joint. The food is hot and fresh and sooo tasty. The service is absolutely impeccable. It doesn't seem like you can make a bad choice on the menu either.

I've only had the menudo. It makes me super happy every time. Sometimes it's extra thick and fatty, sometimes it's a bit weak like the stuff in the can, and TODAY I got the bottom of the bucket with a bone and some skin and extra chewy greatness for showing up late, with a lot of chili and oregano, and just a bit of hominy hiding at the bottom. It's pretty unbelievable with a little cilantro and lime! I have had it every weekend since we found out it was available! I would have it every day if I could! Also, today we got the funny orange-colored drink with no label I can see, but it was cantaloupe! OMG it was amazing too.

Visited their fountain location for the first time. Tacos are by far the worst I've had. The birria consomé was extremely salty. The tongue tacos were burned. The carne asada tacos were also burned. Tripa tacos tasted like carnitas. Cross contamination might be occurring at this kitchen. Employees did not properly greet customers. I did see a couple of other customers as they came in.
