Quality has started to decrease. The carrots are no longer peeled prior to slicing and placed to marinate. Also, the ends are not being cut off the carrots before slicing, and they are not being sliced by hand anymore. The carne asada in my nachos used to be gristle-free, but not anymore. I've only ate about 30% of my nachos, but have discovered 5 chunks of fat that had no meat attached to it. Gross. I used to love this place.... Not anymore.

Went to the location across from the USOPC training facility and ordered 3 fish tacos to go. Friendly cashier took my order, it was ready in about 5 minutes. Overall, fish tacos weren't bad, a little underseasoned but hard to compare with some of the stuff you can get in LA.

Firstly for a chain it was pretty cute inside! The decor was nice. The girl that took our order was also very nice. The quesabirria taco was phenomenal!!!! I'm from LA so finding a good place in Springs was amazing. I'll definitely go again for those. The plain birria and chicken were okay but it might've been because the quesabirria was so good. The portions for the prices are also amazing !!! The only annoying thing is there is a service charge for any card amount.

I went to the N Academy #3 location drive through. Food here is always good, service is slow. Prices just increased which I understand in the current economy.What caught my attention was 3.5% service fee when I paid cash! When I questioned what the "service fee" was for I was told "its just what the register charges regardless if cash or card." Not a justifiable fee for a drive through cash purchase. I won't be back which is sad since I eat there quite often.

Tacos Del Gordo is my go-to Mexican spot that isn't a taco truck! They now have multiple locations: Fountain, Academy & Flintridge, Union Blvd. by the USOTC, S. Academy (this review location). Service is always kind and fast, no matter the time of day or how busy it is.Killer quesabirria tacos! But the thing I order most frequently is their adobada pork nachos! So dang good. HUGE portion that can truly feed 2-people but I'm not likely to share. Just go for it and have them "with everything". No need to modify what comes on them. This location is always tidy and clean. Really bright lighting and colorful artwork. Always have Mexican music videos rolling on a couple TVs.

Great food. Standard prices. Bright, clean interior with tons of seating. Helpful, friendly staff. Drive-thru around the side of the building and loads of parking. Inside salsa station is worth ordering inside. The spicy jalepeno and carrots were BANGING! Salsas and cucumber slices are also available. Swang by today and grabbed a California burrito. I asked if the Cali buritto had regular potato or if it was french fries, and they said it was just potato but would substitute for french fries if I wanted and I did (the way they do in California)! This makes it so dang good! Perfect! I will be back for sure.It's worth a stop, guys! A+

I went thru the drive-thru after a very long nursing shift on Friday night and ordered a vegetarian burrito with no rice and a tamale. I drove the 20 miles home to find none of my order was correct, ending up with a steak burrito and carne asada fries. I don't eat beef so I tried to salvage the asada fries but the fries were still partially frozen! I will not be eating there again. If I could've given it zero stars I would have as I wasted $20 supporting a local restaurant.
