Toothpick Found in My Burrito - Very Concerning!I ordered a breakfast burrito from Taco Star in Colorado Springs and found a toothpick embedded in the food when I bit into it. This could have caused serious harm. It's alarming and raises concerns about the restaurant's food safety practices. When me and my wife tried to call they hung up 3 times. Will be writing complaint with the health department. I won't be returning until they take steps to improve quality control. Customers deserve safe food, not hidden hazards. Would rate zero stars if I could.

This place is dependably convenient, consistent and still relatively affordable. That being said, they do load up burritos and tacos pretty well. We weary of ordering anything with potato as it will be mostly potato inside. However their grilled chicken and adobada tacos are very good. I have only been through the drive-thru and not sure if you can even eat inside, but the line moves quickly and the speaker is super loud, obnoxious and hard as hell to understand. However, all the times I've been there they never mess up my order. Word of caution if they include a grilled jalapeño in your order (3 tacos or more) that sucker will be hot like molten lava. You have been warned. Enjoy!

I don't need to post a long review here...hands down, TACO STAR IS THE BEST! I go out of my way to go there. Of course I try other Mexican fast food places, but these guys are on it. Their food is a beautiful thing. Don't second guess it, just go! You won't be sorry.

Wow. I am very happy to find a 24 hour restaurant that has amazing Mexican food. I went to 4 other taco stars and this was my favorite location. The price is low for such great quality food. I tipped them because it was wonderful. A great appetizer was the #14 rolled taco and the guacamole & chips. My husband loved the chimichanga and I am a fan of the flying taco. I normally take photos but the food was that good yall! I can't wait to go back again.

After work, I usually go get a sausage burrito from them (better than mcdonald's). It always fills me up and tastes amazing!

If hygiene is of any concern to you at all avoid this place at all costs. Watched the guy making tacos, lean on counter with hands, pick through packing boxes and then you use his bare hands to scoop out lettuce and tomatoes onto the tacos. I've never seen anything so disgusting in a restaurant setting. Spoke to the person at the window who either didn't understand or care as she just merely nodded. This is really bad during normal times but is outrageous under current conditions.

Usually pretty satisfied but this time we got a little something extra in the burrito... which makes no sense how did they get styrofoam in a burrito that comes in a paper wrapper. Unfortunately feel like theres no way to make this right because the late night staff doesn't seem to speak too much english and I am getting the run around.

This is a 24hr place which is a win win especially on nights when you drink! The tacos are always good and delicious and they do not skimp on the meat! They come full of meat. The sauces are always on point, and the pico. I love the rice they have as well! Love coming hear !

Solid late night Mexican food option. Beans and rice are both veganI really REALLY wish they would fix their speaker at this location. Its absolutely awful to order here

My wife got carnitas and got violently I'll . vomited and diarrhea all night.very risky to eat here.BEWARE.you better have a strong stomach.
