Was really excited to try the place after the reviews I read reviews. Finding this food truck was nearly impossible with navigation. Not being from here even made it a little more challenging. I order a selection of tacos from the carne asada, al pastor, and lengua. I also ordered an al pastor torta. My family wasn't overly impressed with the food. It was good, but not eye closing and moaning good. There was a steady flow of traffic, so the place is well liked. The service was very nice. The lady in the window was very sweet. Prices are good for what they give you. I'll recommend this truck, but being from out of town, I don't see myself ever coming back to el paisa.

Seriously?! How the heck did I drive by this truck SO many times without stopping until just recently?? Man, was I missing out and if you haven't given this place a try yet, so are you!!I went with the Al Pastor tacos, which are pork, but they have Carne (beef), Lengua (tongue), and Tripa (Tripe, or glands) as well. The Al Pastor tacos, though, are out of this wold good! They are perfectly seasoned (they are a little spicy, so weak tongues beware) and cooked until they are tender and juicy. If you order to go, they give you a baggie full of onions and cilantro as well as a green salsa and a red one. Otherwise, they have a ton of goodies you can top your tacos with right outside the window. The green salsa has avocado in it and adds a great creamy texture to the taco- I couldn't stop eating it! Also, I tried a bite of my husband's Carne taco and found that both the Carne and the Al Pastor were cut perfectly so as not to have any gristly bites. I am bummed that I waited so long to try this place out but I am super stoked that I now have a new late-night, go-to spot for some absolutely amazing mexican food!

This truck is always parked in the same spot on Fountain and always at the same time. Friday afternoon through sunday night you can find this awesome little truck parked near the gas station in the empty dirt lot cooking up a storm. It doesn't matter what time it is, you will always see people from the neighborhood standing outside the truck either waiting on their order or shoveling their order down their mouth. My wife and I usually get the tacos Al Pastor (pork) and they are SOOOO good. I tried the Carne Asada but I still prefer the pork. For those more adventurous, they have Lengua as well as some other stuff that seemed like it was out of my comfort zone. Every order comes with a little zip lock baggy filled with diced onions and cilantro as well as some incredibly awesome salsa and salsa verde. I'm pretty sure they only take cash so be prepared before you arrive. If you ever need a late night snack be sure to come here and grab some tacos to go. WARNING: the neighborhood is sketchy as shit so grab your tacos and go. We've never had any problems while ordering, but my head is on a swivel every time I come.

Ok. This truck is the bomb. Asada tacos. Pastor burritoQuesadillas. Authentic spices and techniques make this a great place to eat Mexican. Great street tacos. Much better than any sit down restaurant in town. You gotta try this place.

Awesome taco truck! I had asada, al pastor, lengua and my associate took down a burrito, a sopa, and a buche taco. Don't hesitate to get down here and get some. Everything we ate was top shelf and authentic. We've eaten our way from taco to taco from Texas to Florida to Arizona, everywhere in between and back twice. Doesn't get any better.

Visiting from out of town. Saw this truck on the way back to the hotel. We ordered the burritos. Almost better than chipotle. Be sure to order a coke. They serve it in a glass bottle. And they give you all the fixings for free. Be careful though, the sauces can be ultra spicy.

The schedule is very unreliable and the food was decent. I was expecting more based on other reviews but it did not deserved the excitement. The meat was very dry and the salsa was not good at all. Cash only by the way. I guess I'll have to keep looking for the perfect taco.
