Sweetwater a Flower Market

Don't go here. Not sure why but the florist was rude and unwelcoming. Phoenix the counter assistant is a gem and picked out acceptable flowers for my bouquet from what little there was available to choose from of quality and variety. Flowers were old, poorly sized, rudeness from florist to employee when asked to wrap( how else would I take loose flowers home?) but fairly priced. No water tube? Weird. Plain paper ok. Twine nice. Did apply a sticker and the bouquet looked nice by the end albeit small and wirey. But when do you not get water to help the flowers keep in a bouquet? It is a "Flower Market " but they hardly have any flowers to choose from. Check it out for yourself. Maybe it will be ok for you? I do believe the negative reviews and try hard to only post the good but maybe she doesn't want me to come back for some reason, I paid $26 and speak with kindness, gratitude, and knowledge. Not sure if she is having a bad day but the flowers are old, scrawny, small, and few. Not good specimens. Good luck to you, going to Safeway next time but usually support small local businesses... she must not need repeat customers. Why?

Here's the thing about flower delivery: the recipient doesn't care about how heirloom or exotic the flowers and vines are. They care about how the flowers look when they get them. That initial reaction is what matters. And when I order a $150 arrangement and pay nearly $200 all-in with delivery for my parents' 47th wedding anniversary and their reaction is, "They're fine...they're pretty..there's branches and carnations," that doesn't make for a happy customer or repeat business. Sweetwater has a website that isn't really user friendly when it comes to ordering. At the time of this review, they advertise a "grand" $88 wrapped bouquet but no way to add the vase even though the description says it can be put into a chic case. That pictured bouquet is in fact grand and plentiful. Because I wanted a vase, I called to place the order. I wanted to support local. I asked them to make a "grand arrangement" with bright colors. You can see what's on their site next to what was delivered for $150 and judge for yourself whether it's worth the price. I get that flowers are subjective. And I appreciate that this florist tried to explain the value when I called. Maybe a professional florist will see the jasmine vines and Veronica and say this is an arrangement worth the price, but the sparseness and stems didn't make the recipient's eyes light up, and that is what matters most.

Such a fun store to walk around in search of fun gifts for loved ones, beautiful flowers and lovely personal care items. Such as soaps, candles, lotions. They have some dish ware. It seems like that have something for anyone. Everyone seems so pleasant and seems to truly be happy to be there. Which as I've said before, makes all the difference. I've been here a couple of times and always find something I love. They are also at the farmers market on saturdays in old Colorado city during summer time.

I walked in here to see what this place had to offer. I have never been here before but have seen someone promoting it on my socials. I was looking for a bouquet of flowers for myself and Unfortunately I wasn't greeted when I walked in, when people before and after me were greeted. Customers around me were also asked if they had ever been and needed help w anything. I never once was asked or greeted, and when I left I wasn't even dismissed. I understand if the place was busy and they might have missed me, cool, I wouldn't care too much. But in this case, they weren't. Probably won't ever bother stepping foot in here again.

Sweetwater provided the bouquets, boutineers, ceremony arrangements and other decorative flowers for my daughter's flower-themed wedding June 22, 2024, in Monument, CO. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and the arrangements and the flowers hanging from the ceiling were total showstoppers. Stunning! Sweetwater made my daughter's vision of a wedding filled with gorgeous flowers come alive. It was such a beautiful day, and Sweetwater really came through for us! J

I really didn't want to come on here and leave a review. But I am disappointed in what occurred at my wedding. We had booked this vendor through our venue because it was who uses them when you choose an all inclusive package. We had a great first floral appointment, however communication lacked. We requested more decorative pieces on the rafts which we paid extra for , and I was so excited to see how beautiful it was going to look on our special day. On the day, there weren't any displayed and I was super bummed. All the venue had said was they are "sorry we forgot". I feel completely brushed off. I have reached out several times as well as my husband to get the refund they said they would provide. 6 months have passed and still nothing. I would NOT recommend this floral place due to lack of professionalism and communication. And they are not refunding the money owed that they stated they would return. I recommend using other florists.

I get flowers from the flower truck every time I go to the Old Colorado City farmers market. The man who works the truck is always so nice :) and the flowers are beautiful

The ladies in the front I would give 5 stars to. The florist and the owner 1 star. It's a big no for me.

I called on my mom's birthday (I live out of state) when they were short staffed and they were still able to accommodate a same-day delivery of an incredible bouquet! This is the second time I've ordered from SWFM and they've been so kind and helpful each time with impeccable artistry. One of my closest friends is a florist so I'm very picky about where I order from when I can't use her! Thank you so much!!

Such a cute shop! Everyone was super attentive, informative and very sweet. I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a camp cocktail for a gift.
