Sushi Thai Salida

As a former Salida resident, I was thrilled to see some new additions to town. Finding food outside of pizza, burgers and Mexican in the heart of the Rockies can be quite the challenge. Sushi Thai is such a welcomed addition. The service was incredible... my water was never empty. Rare to have this kind of service post-Covid. Order the shrimp pad Thai and spice level 4 and it was very good. It's above average Thai. The heat of the 4 was mild at best if you're a heat seeker. I was surprised by the large portion of shrimp as well! It's a little pricey, but everything in Salida is pricey. But in my opinion, I find you can excellent value for the money. If I still lived here, Sushi Thai would definitely be in my bi-weekly rotation! Side note, the fried shrimp shumai is a great starter!

Small, Intimate SettingPerfect setting for a date or small group. Delicious food, and the wine is good, too. The Chicken Panang Curry is wonderful. The Eel Sushi is as well!

Nice little place with great choices of sushi, pho and curries. We had a nice selection of sushi rolls, good beer and ice cold water. Each sushi roll we had was almost to perfection and the spicy ones were just the correct amount of heat to them. This place was really busy and staff handled it pretty well. We were able to be seated outside on the sidewalk, a tad cramped but we made it work. Staff did an outstanding job of waiting on us!Totally recommend this location.

Very good Thai food! Service attentive and helpful, pleasant atmosphere. Polite, and conscientious with a forgotten credit card. Add kudos for integrity!

Wow, what a great surprise to find such a gem! We popped in for lunch on a Friday. They weren't busy and we were seated right away. Looking over the menu, everything sounded good so we went with a sushi roll and drunken noodles. It had been a while since we had a good meal of either. The sushi roll came first, wow! It was massive and so beautifully crafted 7/5! The drunken noodles arrived next, it was a big plate and packed full of flavor, perfectly spicey 6/5! Oh, and the crab rangoon was spot on 5/5! The portions were great but we went back to the menu to look at what we could order next time. I would get this weekly if they were closer to Denver... I guess I need to get to Salida more! The staff was attentive and quite amazing!

The restaurant is a quaint little gem in Salida. The staff are so friendly and responsive. The crab Rangoons are homemade and delicious. Would definitely recommend an order to share. My friend stated the pad tai was some of the best pad tai ever eaten and the peanut sauce was incredible. The portion was generous. My sushi and sashimi was fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back

The green curry is AMAZING! Best I've had in a long time. Service is fantastic and accommodating. We will be back!

We got the spicy edamame, fresh summer roll, and chicken pad Thai! The flavor was great. Highly recommend!

Great Pad Thai and Tom Kha soup. The Jasmine Tea is a coffee-cup-sized cup of hot water with a tea bag for $4: underwhelming and overpriced. The cucumber roll was 6 pieces of veggie sushi for $13: underwhelming and overpriced.

Wow! Where do I begin? Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff which were full of smiles. The attentiveness of each staff member exceeded our expectations. Now the food, impeccable taste and presentation. I got the Top model and my partner got the sushi/sashimi combo. Every bite we took made the drive worth taking from Mt. Princeton to Salida. I loved the art work that was for purchase as well. You will not be disappointed!
