Called this location a day prior before having my fiancé show up for a vin verification. They told me "yes we do vin verifications 8am-12pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, first come, first serve basis." My fiancé shows up Wednesday at 8am and they tell her no it's 10am-2pm. What a joke. They don't even know their own hours. *not a jab at CSPD, I appreciate our law enforcement*

You can tell that most of the negative reviews posted here about the Colorado Springs Police are folks that did not get the response they expected (or wanted) from our hard working police. The women and men of the CSPD are the ones that run towards the danger when the rest of us are trying to get to safety. We, the citizens of COS, hired these folks to protect and serve US and to enforce the laws/rules we decided on to run a safe community. I think the CSPD is doing an outstanding job with the resources we provide them with our taxes/fees. If you want faster responses to your calls for help then you need to vote to provided them with more resources. BTW, I have not agreed with every interaction I have had police but I was still glad they were there trying their best to keep us all safe (even from speeding me).

This was actually a very easy visit. I went in for fingerprints for a small change in my name; it was pretty quick ,as long as you follow exactly what the lady says; that does the fingerprinting. She doesn't have an awesome personality; but then again ,I'm sure that it's because she has shady characters that probably come in and try to schmooze her!

If you are getting fingerprinted for a job...plan to bring a book to read and a sack lunch! You definitely are deceived by the few people in the lobby. Literally waited for an hour and a half for my prints to get done...with 4 people in front of me!

I went on a ride along with Officer Rivera about two months ago. It was a blast. She was very eager to answer any questions I had and really made the experience enjoyable. I believe she came over from the Sand Creek Division to work at the Stetson Hills division for her shift to help out. In all the calls we went to, she was very compassionate, hard working, and you could tell she had a 'sixth sense' for the situation and the scenarios that could play out for each call we went on. She gave me tons of information and overall it was an outstanding experience. Thank you Officer Rivera! -Ben

I have been amazed by the help I have received from the officers at this station dealing with a recent robbery. Officer Paul has stood out amongst those officers, going above and beyond anything I could have expected. I have a deep respect for what the police have to deal with on a daily basis to begin with, but this just furthered that respect even more. This has been a devastating loss for my company but to know that they are doing their best to help me out, I will be forever greatful.

So... These idiots have costed a VETERAN over $20,000... My identity was stolen and possessions from my dads funeral... Because they don't know how to do police work... With the exception of Officers Schweitzer and Officer Mathis... They are AMAZING cops. But when I got arrested in my own home they left the criminals there to rob me because I didn't shoot them... WTF?!?! I told the arresting officer "They are going to rob my house dude!" His reply (forgot his name) "Don't worry sir... we won't let them... but if they do, just call us." Then he freaking winked at me!!! WTF?!?! So my social security card is gone, my bank account got hacked. They didn't even let me get my glasses to see, my wallet, my keys either... So I had to walk home in flip flops miles and miles during winter to break a window to get into my own house that had been robbed and vandalized... DON'T thank me for my service. I respect military and firefighters... and the only two decent cops from this jacked up precinct... I'll NEVER trust them again. They let my ex wife destroy $6000 dollars of my things too. Because they didn't want to do the paperwork to bring her in when she tried to kill me. The next morning the morning shift cops arrested her. TOO LATE!!! They are lucky I'm a good person and didn't sue the crap out of them. BE CAREFUL with these guys... they are there for a paycheck not to protect and serve!!!
