Best pheasant hunting I've seen in Southern Colorado thus far. The staff is phenomenal, thousands of acres to hunt with birds a plenty.
Hard to tell who's havin more fun...guys or dogs
Some practice shooting clays before hitting the fields.
Lots of fun shooting Pheasants and the food was the best. Rhonda cooks the best prime rib!

Simply the best. I've hunted here several times, a great way to get on some birds in an area otherwise impossible to do so.

Took my family and a friend who has never had any experience hunting. He is from another country. We were very successful hunting and we had 13 pheasants in about 2 hours of hunting with Andy's dogs.Andy was our guide, and he has great technology that he uses for the dogs which is amazing. He was very knowledgeable and patient with our group and he loves his dogs!!We had a great experience at Steel Fork Pheasants.

As a hunter I understand not every hunt is lights out. However, coming to a farm and paying for birds I expect a higher chance for a success. We were a party of three, running two experienced dogs. We bought the minimum of 5 pheasant per person, not knowing we'd be placed on a 340 acre field. Talk about finding needles in a hay stack. We systematically hunted the field for 5:30 hours total, saw 4 birds and yielded two. After a disappointing hunt it was time to square up with the bill, where I then found out I was paying more than advertised according to their website; more salt in the wound. I'm by no means trying to bash their business. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. But I will not be going back.

This is the best upland bird hunting place, for the money, I have hunted! And I have hunted In Illinois, South Dakota, Kansas, various places in the Denver area and the Eastern plains of Colorado. The people who own Steel Fork Pheasants are really great folks who are friendly and easy to talk with. The areas that people are given to hunt in are very spacious and you can hunt ALL day with NO time limits! The prices for the birds is very reasonable and the birds are top notch. The pheasants fly like wild Kansas birds I've hunted.I personally don't think these folks charge enough money for what a hunter receives.

The owners are outstanding! Very accommodating and genuinely nice people. The hunting conditions are exceptional with over 40 areas to choose from. I said areas not acres. There is also a very nice clubhouse and large room to clean birds. I highly recommend this facility.
