This parish has fostered a hostile, and downright vicious environment for families with small children. It might not have been their intention, but it happened. Just had an experience at St. Dominic's that has literally shaken my faith in the church, and made me question why I became Catholic. When I chose as an adult to join the church, one of the main reasons why were the pro-family teachings.I was so happy to take my baby back to mass, the first chance since COVID-19 broke out. My family came an hour early, we sat in the family section of the pews. My baby started to babble, not scream. It was obviously loud since the entire church was quiet, but he was NOT screaming. My husband took our son out of the sanctuary about three times, hoping our son would tire himself out, and to remain respectful of other parish members. We decided to both go by the doors, outside of the sanctuary and let our kid walk back and forth (away from anyone else). *As we left, an older man behind us said out loud for everyone to hear, "And stay out!". This was all before the service even began. The crying room was closed, there were no accommodations for children. This is understandable due to the current situation, but it should also be understood that people will bring their children regardless. As we walked around with the baby outside of the sanctuary, the Knights of Columbus were gracious...We were told that we had to sit down or leave though, so rather than going back in the sanctuary to be treated poorly again, we chose to leave. We had no other option. By this time, the Mea Culpa had just occurred. Let the little children come to me. Unless you are Catholic, and going to St. Dominic's. Children aren't "tolerated" by the parish members there. To the man who was so cruel to myself, and my child...I hope you know that your behavior does not bring you closer to God, and acting like that at mass makes your presence ia conundrum in itself. To the Priest~ Please stop sending me the same message over and over (the one you posted word for word on Yelp). It shows little concern for what happened, and is insult to injury considering the harsh things you said to my family members. Mistakes were made. Please stop messaging me, and accept that your initial responses on FB were less than gracious (and documented).

Would have loved to have been there today. I woke up early as usual and tried making it there but the buses did not run today unfortunately. I went to this Victory outreach church and it was awful. They put me on the spot for saying I was a syncrentist and ordained minister for Universal Life Church. I gave them a gold foil bank note which was meant to go here. I thought they were related to Our Lady of Victory which I was confirmed at in PA. I have even asked for my own funding to have my own church and they refuse to give it to me. It is whatever then I am literally feeling like I am the only religious person. But they actually want me to sit in churches where the people break their own rules? How rude. What happens when you follow what Christians preach but they do not consider you a christian even though most of them don't follow anything the bible says or the ten commandments? Isn't that outrageous?
