If you value your time and need help with your computer and network, DO NOT call Alex or SpringsGeek. Stay away!!We scheduled a 9 am home visit for IT work almost one week in advance. I agreed to his price, and he knew what help we needed.Alex was a no-show. I was worried and called a few times. No reply back. I waited for a couple of hours in case there was a good reason and because I had waited several days to get this work done. I even called later in the afternoon to give him a chance to let me know what happened. Several calls into him without the courtesy of a return call. That all happened six days ago, so no excuses at this point.Meanwhile, I lost valuable time. And need to schedule someone legit to come out and help.Someone late who does not offer an apology does not return a call, does not bother to clean up his mess, and wastes your time (and money) is not worthy of your business or consideration. Meanwhile, there are a couple of legit computer experts with professional approaches to helping others and earning their fees. Alex P. from SpringGeek is not one of those people. Call Compu10 or Techno Guy Computer. Anyone but Alex and SpringsGeek. Or even buy a new computer, because it is gotta be better than waiting for Alex to no-show!Stay away from this bush league operator.

My ASUS Zenbook is my right hand for the past year. I work on deadlines. Literally while on a conference call it went to sleep and never woke up. There were no warning symptoms or messages. As luck would have it it was 3 weeks out of warranty. I spent an hour on the phone with the manufacturer 's Tech Support troubleshooting and trying to restart it. I could hear Windows 10 coming back up but couldn't see a thing; not a glimmer, flicker or squiggle of light on the screen. The only physical support/repair offered was via mail to the vendor and then forwarding onto manufacturer for repair in 7-10 business days with an estimated cost of $510 + shipping, handling and insurance. Hell, I could buy a refurbished one for that without the additional hassles. I literally spent part of the night searching for a local repair guy. Called mid-morning, spent 15 minutes talking to Alex about my ill Zenbook and arrived at 2 possibilities and repair costs for each option if needed. I had an appointment for 2 PM and was out of there 45 minutes later for way less than $100 with a clean, WORKING Zenbook and a 60 day warranty.Alex knows his stuff, delivers AWESOME honest, good workmanship at a very reasonable cost without BS or the run around I got from the manufacturer. YES the Yelp reviews steered me to him!

We highly recommend SpringsGeek! Admittedly, when our laptop that we depend on for business froze, we contacted a big box store to see if it could be fixed. Without really asking any questions, we were told we could bring it in and pay $230 (!) plus likely some additional costs and they "might" fix it. We searched for other options and found Alex and SpringsGeek and thank goodness we did. Alex was polite and professional on the phone and in person. He explained clearly what he would do with our laptop and then gave us a VERY reasonable quote and timeframe. As promised, Alex called when it was ready and we picked it up. Extremely professional and honest shop. Please avoid being taken by the big box folks and see Alex for any of your computer repair needs!

We've been using Springs Geek for years. Be sure to check the hours before you go; it's a little different than the standard. The atmosphere is a classic IT department with equipment and cables sprawled about. He can help you with just about anything, and at a fair price and timely response. I usually go for an annual cell phone screen replacement, but we also had a hard drive recover. We usually have questions about other items like drones, gaming consoles, etc.
