Sportivo Primo at The Antlers

I was in the mood for a sandwich, and didn't feel like braving the cold. Stopped in for a bite. I got the Rueben and it was delicious. Got some rings on the side for the win, and everything was amazing. Device was quick and food was wonderful.

(Posted also on Antlers Hotel page)We had an amazing Valentine's dinner Saturday night at Sportivo. A 4 course meal plus bottle of wine for $50/person. I haven't seen a price that good in a long time! The avocado appetizer was stuffed with crabmeat and a salsa and coated with a crunchy crust that was absolutely delicious and beautiful. The Boston Bibb salad was incredibly fresh and had berries and walnuts that may have been freshly picked - the berries of course! My husband ordered the bacon wrapped filet which he said was tasty but maybe on the tough side. I got the salmon with a tamarind glaze. It was a wonderful combination of flavors and served with scalloped Potatoes (not overpowered with milk) and broccoli rabe. I think I licked the plate! Topping it all off was strawberry shortcake and chocolate dipped strawberries. The cake had layers of cream and a berry compote. Neither plate had a crumb left!To top off our meal, the service was so friendly and the chef visited our table 3 times to ensure we were satisfied. We felt like royalty. We're looking forward to our return!

You know, I was expecting basic hotel bar food and it was actually really good. Possibly one of the better steaks I've had in a long time. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Brussel sprouts were tasty and the mashed potatoes decent. The bar was empty so the service was great. Sometimes after a long day at work you get back to your hotel and don't have the energy to go out. Sportive primo is just what you need. Down stairs, lots of beers, delicious food and the game on tv. I stay at Antlers a lot so I'm sure I'll be back.

A very nice little bar. Okay beer selection. My burger was incredible. Okay on price. Really cool pub atmosphere. VERY convenience and a great option if you are staying in The Antlers hotel. The staff was AWESOME, even though they were running a small crew.

It was quiet enough and has large round tables that are conducive to our group talking. Square tables promote multiple small conversations, this is better.Happy hour booze is good deal, but they offer 2-for-1 on a few pizzas as the happy hour food deal. We learned from the last time not to do this,it makes figuring the bill a headache. Would be much better if they just discounted all the pizzas a certain amount. No one ordered pizza this time--tacos were okay, both beef and chicken.

Went to try the Duca's pizza, disappointed. Crust was good but topping choices and actual toppings on pizza was SLIM. I did like how thin the crust was and the flavor from the wood fire grill. I had the "pizza margherita", couldn't taste the basil because it was fried. Friend had pizza margherita with sausage and jalapeños. I think it was a half of sausage per slice...Skimpy! And it's in a hotel lobby so expensive...too bad, it's a cool place and could bring in locals but would need some changes.

Really good for the price. I had a spicy 12" pizza and my wife had a portobello mushroom sandwich with quinoa. Both plates were less than 15 dollars each. Service was friendly but the food came out a little cold. The sauce on the pizza was great, not to mention the IPA yo wash it down with.

My pizza was good. I had to have it sent back to actually finish cooking it, but it was some of the best pizza I've had in Colorado Springs. The chicken salad was old, tasteless and the chicken tasted like it was old and reheated. The service was quite good and the server was attentive. The ambience is nice hotel restaurant but totally empty. Every time we've been here. We tried it again because they have a new chef.prices are reasonable for being at the antler. Drink prices were OK. Wine menu could be tweaked. The red wine selection was terrible. However, overall it's worth a try if you're in the area. we will go back for the pizza, but that's about it.

horrible pizza!!! bottom of pizza tasted like soap. horrible service: staff does not know how to check voicemail for room service orders. I waited an hour before going down to see what was up with my pizza and realized they didn't even know how to answer the voice messages.

The Steak Sandwich was spectacular along with the brussel sprouts. Highly recommend especially if you are staying at the Antlers.
