Go to for both casual and serious wine drinkers. Always a broad stock of quality choices if you know what you want and a very knowledgeable staff who can get ahold of nearly anything you seek or make great recommendations based on even simple tasting notes. Strongly recommend their monthly wine club; curated just for you based on your preferences. Well worth the quick hop off I-25 for anyone from Pueblo to Monument.

One of the best wine selections in Colorado Springs! I cannot recommend enough the monthly wine club. They tailor it to your taste and price range. They have always come up some really great wines! They have a great beer selection as well.

The selection of wine, craft beer, seltzers and liquor is top notch. The staff is the best in town. Going here is always a treat! They always are so helpful and give great recommendations. Best place in CO Springs hands down. Check it out!

Nice little place with great hours! You want wine liquor or beer they got it! It was the interaction with the guy at the register that set this place apart. The man was spacey at first but once I asked him how I was doing he told me "groovy dog, peaches, stars, and fluffy white marshmallows" I was dumbfounded, he proceeded to ramble on about twinkles seeing that my IF was from Minnesota! 5 STARS!

Ya gotta say, there are only two liquor stores on this level in Colorado Springs: Coaltrain's and Sovereignty Wines (formerly Southwest Spirits). Ivars, who runs it, is a true connoisseur of the fine liquors he offers. As far as wines go, their classification system tells you whether a wine is organic, bio-sustainable, low-sulfite and one of two other category. I find they have the best offerings of organic, bio-sustainable, and low-sulfite wines I have ever seen, and I FREQUENT such establishments. Plus, Ivars and his staff can tell you what drinks go with which meals. I have known this place for over twenty years, and they are always getting better.

Love this place! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They love helping you find the right thing, and I've loved everything they've recommended. At Cheyenne Liquor they can recommend you Wild Turkey and nothing else, because that's all they drink. I made the decision years ago that Sovereignty was "my liquor store", and haven't regretted it. PS, I love that they check ID. Since I've lived here Cheyenne Liquors has been shut down 3 times for serving minors. That's when I made the switch.

I felt the need to update this since Sovereignty's expansion. It remains a great place to pick up wine or beer, and they still place a premium on customer service. The wine selection is still great, and now there's an even better beer selection.This is always my first choice.

This place has a very nice selection of wines and beer. Their prices seem to reflect current prices and do not seem to be overly inflated. Occasionally on Thursdays they also offer wine tastings. The only complaint I have is the odd customer service that can be a little bit off , or - strange I will say - the salesgirl is very out going and courteous though and knowledgable about the products at the store.

Superb service. Friendly staff. Great selection and the wine is chilled. Highly recommend to everyone.

I literally do not go anywhere else. Selections are always amazing, prices are fair. However, I come here for the wine, I ALWAYS get the best recommendations!! I've gotten wine history lessons from the owner, truly a well of knowledge! Sophie has opened my pallet to all things natural wine - I'm so thankful to have these guys in my neighborhood!
