South Park Saloon

I really enjoy the South Park Saloon! Their cheesesteak and fries are truly some of the best I've had. The person in the kitchen who prepares them really deserves recognition for their hard work; you can taste the effort that goes into the food! I'm tempted to go get one right now.

This is a fun place in Alma, Co. the food is pretty good, the pizza looks really good. Decent bar and happy hour. I suggest sitting at the bar if you don't have a large group. The wood bar itself is very pretty, so,it's nice to sit there. The staff is ok. Years ago, this was known as " Alma's only bar", which my brother would frequent when he lived in the area in the 1970s. I recommend giving it a try.

My husband and I wanted pizza and we were staying in Fairplay during Burrow Days so opted to drive to Alma to get a pizza to go. How can you pass up North America's Highest Elevation Saloon?It was packed and I waited a bit to get noticed due to how busy the wait staff was. Then I was helped by 2 people who were friendly and welcoming. They told me the food wait was in the 45 minute range and I let them know that was fine. I explained that I wanted to order a pizza to go and then I was told those are coming out much faster at 25-30 minutes. She offered to let me order a drink while I waited but I went for a walk instead. When I got back 30 minutes later they were still packed and my order was ready and hot. We took our pepperoni and mushroom pizza back to our Air BnB in Fairplay opened a bottle of wine and had a nice dinner. The restaurant has limited outdoor seating but quite a few tables inside. It's a relaxed yet hopping place.

This is an awesome local spot in Alma. Service was super friendly. The food was delicious and the beer selection was also excellent. Highly recommend checking this spot out if you're in the area.

Service here was terrible. The "manager" clearly does not understand sales. He had his staff ignored my group. He was worse than a 10 year old running a business. Hard pass on this. As a native, this clown is not what rural Colorado stands for.

Food was amazing after a long day, exactly what we were looking for. Great ambiance and Emily was a doll! 10/10 recommend

We've eaten here a number of times and we absolutely love it. This most recent time we had a group of 9 and Emily was the only server working. She did an amazing job of staying on top of everything despite it being a busy lunch rush. The burgers are delicious. They don't have a ton of vegetarian options, but enough to enjoy a meal out in Alma. Definitely recommend going to the highest saloon in North America.

Fast and friendly people. Convenient location close tonality Park City. Will definitely make this a stop on the future.

A nice surprise, was pulling our fifth wheel and landed here in Alma. Great location to park RV. Walked across the street and went to the saloon. Had special, chicken fried sandwich and friend had Sasquatch sandwich. Waitress was very attentive and friendly to the point of getting some fresh water for our pups.Onion rings were nice and crispy. Both sandwiches were very good. Food came out promptly....Highly recommend if you are driving through and need a quick bite.

Good food, nice service, great music. Overall good! A bit slow for what we ordered but it was relatively busy and there were only 2 folks serving.
