Sorelle Delicatessen

If you are in Buena Vista, Colorado, be sure to stop at Sorelle Delicatessen. Stopped here for lunch at 1 o'clock on a Saturday. When you walk in to the restaurant , the menus are written on chalkboard on the side of the walls.So many choices to choose from. They have a daily soup and many sandwiches. Adorable Cashier was super friendly. I remember her name being something like Anastasia. She confirmed our order with many compliments. I ordered the chicken with Gouda sandwich, but I only got a half as the sandwiches are quite large. My husband asked about the dressing that was served on the sandwiches. She said it was so good she could bathe in it. My husband just got a turkey sandwich with the house dressing and he agreed that it was that good. The restaurant inside is rather small. Just a few tables but very clean. Take yourself out to the patio outback. It has red umbrellas and black outdoor tables. It has a fountain in the middle of the patio. You can go further if you have a pet and take them to the back patio, which is a backyard of picnic tangles. Our food was more than enough with half a sandwich. They are quite large. Their beverages are self serve out of a fountain. The food came quickly and we were not disappointed. I saw other people with their sandwiches and I wish I had asked to take a photo. Nothing here would be disappointing to eat.

Glad I found this place for lunch while making the trek home after a snowy week. Sorelle could very well become my go to place when I am traveling through on Hwy US 285. The menu line up is lengthy so it is hard to determine which one to choose. For us this time, it was the freshly roasted chicken pesto sandwich. All fresh ingredients, it was a perfect lunch as it tasted great and was served promptly. The attendants are friendly and efficient. The manager/owner is involved and is constantly making quality control adjustments - not that any are needed. Table seating inside. This is a really good sandwich shop, with fast service and reasonable prices. I will be back soon.

Amazing sandwiches and friendly staff! Wish this place was in my hometown. Got great recommendations since everything on the menu looked delicious.

I just LOVE this place! It's run by some sisters with a passion for making delicious and welcoming food. I take advantage of Sorelle as often as I can when I'm in Buena Vista. The atmosphere is quaint and friendly. The staff couldn't be more friendly.

Our sandwiches were so fresh with amazing bread baked in house. Their gluten free vegan cookies are still in my mind a week later! This is a great local eatery with super friendly staff and a nice selection of healthy and yummy dishes, including take out dinners like lasagna and stuffed grape leaves. This was a nice, budget-friendly find in super touristy Buena Vista.

STOP HERE!!! We were passing through and stopped here on a whim. Everything was amazing. My husband got the Ruben and I had the Turkey and prosciutto. We shared a potato salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. Serving sizes are also large.

On our way from Denver to CB, we placed a to go order at Sorelle for pick up. My husband and I weren't too hungry, so we split the Uncle Frank's Porchetta sandwich (House-Made Porchetta, Roasted Red Pepper Garlic Sauce, Caramelized Onions & Arugula - Served Toasted on Baguette). It was very tasty but a messy sandwich to eat in the car with the sauce dripping down! The flavor/bread itself was tasty, if anything could have been a bit more toasted and I think the sandwich could have used some acid but overall very tasty sandwich stop in BV.

Top tier, huge sandwiches! Cute little spot with really great staff. The cannoli are to die for!

Just rolled into town and stopped here. It was absolutely delicious! The sandwich was huge and full of flavor. The bread was also amazing.I will definitely be back to try some other things!

Stopped for lunch- got the Hot Italian beef sandwich sans the hot peppers. Sandwich was very good - tender beef. Au jus was a bit bland. Caprese sandwich was "out of this world" fantastic!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Topped it off with a slice of homemade turtle cheesecake which makes my mouth water even 2 days later!!
