Somjai Thai Cuisine

Delicious and pretty damn authentic! It's in a bit of an out of the way strip mall, but once you're inside you'll feel like you're in welcoming spot.The flavors were on point and hit the spot just right. The spice levels were a bit on the light side for my own tastes, but a true connoisseur of thai cuisine will know it's not just about the spice but the flavors!Definitely recommended and worth a return visit!

Came in for lunch and were immediately attended. There was a good size lunch crowd and a steady flow of customers the whole time we were there. The food was ok, lacked some seasoning and both our curries were watery my potatos didn't taste like they were made with the curry and they weren't seasoned either. The iced thai coffee tasted like it came from a packet (I didn't drink mine because the flavor was so artificial ) The egg rolls were really good and the chicken satay we ordered as an appetizer came after our lunch was served it was also lacking salt. The staff was kind and attentive the food just wasn't what I expect from a Thai place.

The restaurant is small, 41 seats. The server was friendly and helped us order the level of spice for our meals. This was our first time eating here so we appreciated the help. Hot tea was awesome and was served in these cool tea pot/cup combos.Food came out fast, temperature was hot, and spice level was perfect. Overall this was a 10. Service was great. Food was tasty and large portions. The only complaint was that the door has no airlock so, when it's cold outside and the door opens, the temperature drops in the room.

Best crab rangoons I've ever had! I didn't catch her name, but the young waitress with bangs was so sweet and a great hostess. This is my favorite Thai spot in town!

Overall good experience. The restaurant is called two different things but in the same location so trust that if you go there, and you find a Thai restaurant, you're at the right place. Either Thai Guy or Somjai Thai. The staff were friendly and spoke Thai to each other. The place is clean and a casual date spot. The food is exactly what I was looking for. I got the lunch special which included a main meal with rice, a vegetable roll, and Thai tea. Delicious and if I stayed in the area, I would be back.

First visit - ordered take out- absolutely loved this place!! Small interior, cute outside patio (during warmer months), super clean and smelled heavenly when I walked in. Warm greeting. Food was getting packed up just as I arrived. Portions were huge! Ordered med spice for myself and husband, mild for kids- flavors were deep and rich like they'd been simmering for hours!! Can't wait to come back!!

This little strip mall restaurant right outside the Air Force Base. Northgate is surprisingly excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have an extensive menu with an excellent selection of different Thai staples.. They also have a nice lunch portion menu for a reduced price which includes an eggroll and Thai tea or coffee. My only complaint is that I could not substitute plain tea for the Thai tea, (which is too sweet for me) without paying an up charge.We had the gyoza, the stir fried vegetable plate and the garlic plate from the lunch menu. As expected, the lunch portions were fairly small, but very filling and tasty. The gyoza were delicious.

This is our third time and better than the first. Always great service and amazing food. The Khoi Soi is amazing. The dried rice is amazing and summer rolls are superb.

Absolutely 5/5 all day long! This place has the best customer service I've been around in a long time and the prices are just absolutely amazing too! Came here today with 2 others and our food came out within 20 minutes and was absolutely delicious and the serving sizes are great, I have leftovers for tonight now & then some. Will be coming back here for sure, for all the food dishes pictured here it was just over $30 before tip and haven't had such big portion sizes and great customer service for the prices like this before. Will be coming back for sure!

Delicious food, great prices, fast service and a wonderful staff. This will be my goto lunch spot when I'm working at PSFB.
